A while back on this board some were posting potential breeding combinations.  Many people contributed and there were many great suggestions and some interesting pairings.  I was hoping to get some of the same.
Here is the female:
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/548656.html

I got this female as a replacement dog, I am not completely familiar with the Prielberg lines.  I have heard some nice things though, and Stacy is a nice girl.
Here are some concerns:
Stacy is large and long, a large male may give me way oversized puppies.
At two years of age, Stacy is still very much a puppy, so I am thinking that she is simply slow to mature...fine but I would like to find a male that takes life fairly seriously with average or slightly above average civil drive.

The male must have OFA hips and elbows,

There is about a year before any of this will take place, Stacy will have her x-rays next week and still needs a title, but with trial season starting it sure would be great to have a list of dogs to see this summer!  I have a couple of males that I already would like to see, but I always tend to like, lo and behold,   lines I already have!

So come on gang, help me think outside of the box!

Use the mating check to see what type of line breedings the males you like will give you and if there are photos of the family tree, koer reports ect, study those.

Your last comment seems to indicate you want an outcross??

Go the right way and have her x-rayed, titled and have her breed survey done. That will take a few months. enough time for you to look for a good partner, who also is breed surveyed, and you'll have enough time to figure out what you want to improve by having pups.
Take your time in researching the future father of your pups. You have to be convinced that you would also buy a pup out of that combination. That way you are true to the breed, yourself and your future customers.
Good luck!

Isabell,
I know all of this and I did state as much in the post.   I don't know that I will have her Kored, but she has many things to accomplish before she is bred!   I was really hoping for some ideas of what "clicks with some of the dogs in the Prielberg lines.  I know what works well with the Hilsblick lines, I have them in abundance!

I would like an outcross from the Fero lines, not neccesarily a total outcross from Stacy herself...

I will be working several females this trial season and I hope to get out to most of the MidCentral Regional events, I would just hate to miss seeing a dog because I was looking the wrong way at the time!

If you plan on breeding this female why wouldn't you have her Kored? after all this is the requirement for breeding among all the other requirements.

When I choose my breeding partner I looked for a partner that could make love all nite and still plow 20 acres of corn field in the morning...

yeah, thanks Bob, we dont really use GSDs as farm equipment here, now if they would learn to use the chainsaw that would be a different story!\

Arkan is a fine male, in Texas too... there might be a chance to see him this season!

A "breeding partner" joke:

The guy takes Viagra for the first time in his life.  In the morning his wife asks him if he wants some breakfast, but he replies "No, thanks, the Viagra has killed my appetite."  At noon, his wife says "You must be hungry!" but he replies the same.  As evening approaches, she says "Please tell me you'd like some dinner!" to which he replies "Not really, this Viagra has made me lose all interest in food."

At that point his wife nearly shouts, "Well, then, please let me up, as I'm starving!"
