Take a look at this guy in germany. He is specializing in breeding solid blacks. He always also tries to make it to the regional championships where he has competed in the past. He is claiming between 300 - 500 trials with his dogs total. He was also the recipient of the Goldenes Zuechterabzeichen way back in 1984. I don't know about his stud fees or much of his dogs, but here is the link to his website:

Onyx! I found it. That's my baby. He can be sweet, on occasion. LOL. Actually, I was trying to get a shot of us together, but he was sick of the camera, so he turned and gave me a kiss, maybe trying to charm his way out of yet another photo shoot just as the camera snapped. He's not much of a licker, so I kept this one.

Ryanhaus

This is the sire of my fluffy Violett Von Ryanhaus,
Also, he is Bonnie Von Ryan's half brother,
He's not titled but will have his CD in no time, he's also OFA Good
he has an excellent temperament, I'll probably see him tonight at obedience school.
Violett met her daddy, his call name is Onyx, but his pedgree name is: Panzer Von Wispernden Kiefern

Hi Jenni,  love your boy Caleb, how far are you from Massachusetts!  Other than Onyx, I think Caleb makes the cut,
very handsome, does he have any kids out there???

That Onyx is one handsome son of a bitch, lol! ;-)

I'm outside Chicago. Not so close. Caleb has no children. Well, none that he knows about, he says.

Looking at Caleb's pedigree, I see that he has some of the same dog relatives as Onyx,
that is probably why they are sooooooooo good looking

Here's "Onyx's" pedigree

Don and Held, but you have to go pretty far back to see them. I pulled Onyx's 5-6 gen ped to look farther back. I was actually expecting more similarities b/c their face/head type is similar. I can typically pick out similar lines by looks; I always end up picking Caleb over and over again, LOL.

Thanks for the compliment on him.

Thank you, Moons. I try to add to it slowly. I have so many hundreds of pictures of that dog...it's embarrassing. I know the big heads aren't your thing, so I appreciate your kind words.

Jenni, do you have links to Calebs ped? If you already posted sorry, I don't have time to go reading all of this to find it. skimming quickly I didn't see anything.

He sounds alot like my dog Baden who will also only be bred for myself. I'd like to see what your boy has behind him.
