Two Moons

by Two Moons on 06 February 2009 - 16:02

I was very pleased with the black litter and the stud I used this past year.

In a year I plan to breed again, I will be looking to see how these pups progress but at the same time I am looking for other solid black males with equal or better qualities as a potential candidate for stud.

He must be solid black, no white spots on the chest and none in his ancestry.
A working or titled dog with good or better ofa, correct structure and the temperment I desire.
Must be withing driving distance from me,  I'm in southern Indiana.

Again I was very pleased with the stud I used last year but he has the white spot and I would prefer a stud without it.

I'd love to hear from solid black owners.

Moons.

You do know that if the solid black dog's get into a rumble whether it's nice or not, and they get hair pulled out their hair will come back white? My solid black male had a rumble and only had a couple of hairs pulled out and they came back white. He is solid black except for a few hairs now that were pulled out before. Maybe this is why the male you used has a spot of white? I don't know? Just wanted to let you know. My guy is not titled due to my personal health issues, not his fault at all b/c he would have no problem going all the way in schutzhund, but I am also too far away for you too. Good luck in your search!!!

I saw this dog at the 2008 USA Nationals.  VERY nice, strong male.  I don't recall whether there is any white on him, or not.  I was watching his performance.

We just got a nice litter from Molly's lach-schwartz (solid black) stud dog H'Doc Rex Lupus. Beautiful dog, no white spot, but you have to title your bitch. :-D

Is that the breeding to Gabi, holder of the Marc/Arthus/Urs lines?

Twomoons, I just saw the most GORGEOUS black stud for sale on the database! Unfortunately, he's in Poland, but OMG what a looker!

[sigh!]  (wipes drool off keyboard...)

I wish they'd posted his pedigree, but judging from his structure, I'm guessing Czech working lines.
