Uber Land

Saw this female today on the PDB, just goes to show,  you don't have to have extreme angulation or  a roach back to have incredible movement!  look at the suspension on this bitch!  looks like she is just floating across the pavement.  very balanced dog,  wish I was able to import her for myself.

Nice reach, great suspension - she's a gorgeous mover.

I'm not an expert in structure, but I think that this bitch is a beauty.  I don't really think that the roached back looks good, nor do those really long, stretched out back legs.  To me, those dogs look awful.  The German shepherd is supposed to be a majestic dog, regal in bearing, and, to me, the roached back makes the dog look as if it is standing over hot coals and trying not to get its belly burned.  Not an attractive look, by any means.

Beautiful head and type, strong, short back, nice movement shot- but she seems disproportionate to me.  I think perhpas her legs are a bit short? Otherwise yes, very attractive.

That is a gorgeous female, the type I prefer also.
What are your thoughts on this male?  Photos of him gaiting at 2 yrs old, stacked at 2 yrs old and free-standing at 4 yrs old.  The gaiting photo as you can see I didn't catch him when he was quite in full extension, the photo shows him just short of full extension, you can also see that the leash is slightly slack so he isn't distorted by trying to plow into the leash which so many dogs seem to be.  He is almost full brother to VA Bazi v. Urbecke.
