My almost 4 month year old GSP is starting to get a pink nose. Does anybody know the reason? did it happen to your dog, too?

It's known as "winter nose", it'll go black again in the spring. Cute picture!

I agree, it's because of the winter cold and snow, this happens often to young pups in the winter, and the pup's nose should regain it's black pigmentation when warm weather returns.

Your pup is beautiful !!

Thanks a lot!

chicki, I saw a picture of your dog and its nose looks exactly like my pup's one.  Your link was very helpful!

If it happens just in winter I think I wont give him any additional Vitamin supplies, let's wait for the wam weather!

Make sure you're not feeding/watering out of plastic.  Sometimes a dog is sensitive to the plastic and that can cause it as well.

No, he eats and drinks in metal bowls.
