Red Sable

My six month old workingline pup buries her poop with her nose like a cat after she's done doing her duty.  I've never seen a dog do that before!  Note:  there is snow here, I'm not sure what she'll do in the summer!

I've never seen this before!  How funny!  I've seen them bury bones in throw rugs using their nose but not their poop!

My very first GSD did that as well. He had a certain path and if he pooped on his path he would move it off of his path and bury it in the dirt with his nose, or even when it wasn't on his path.  I've never had another dog do this.

I would gladly pay extra money for a pup that did that.
For the first time, my 7 month old buried a bone in the snow yesterday. I gave him another new bone this morning and I refused to let him leave the house with it. That bone is now inside of one of my boots....  brat!  ; >)

Dogs are funny with their habbits... I had a Siberian who liked to poop ON something... a rock, a stump, whatever... and an Akita who had a HUGE yard to play and run in who did 100% of his poop in one spot... I swear it'd have been 3' high if not picked up every day.   They all get their habits... had a husky pup who liked to sleep in her waterbucket... LOL boy was she pissed when she out grew it!..  same with Klytie who had a lil wicker basket she loved... but she grew!!
