Papas Fritas

I feed "Evo" and "Origin". If I could afford raw, I would seriously consider it, but I've heard that in addition to cost it can be a messy ordeal.

I was at the dog food store for over two hours. I came home with one bag of EVO, one bag of RC GSD and a small bag of Canidae Platinum for T.  $132. incl. tax.  Very stressful. I will be exploring other options for the next week. I probably have enough Canidae Proof of Purchase labels to get 5+ bags of that from the Breeder Program for free, but I don't like the stuff for most of the dogs. I used it for months before and after the recipe change, soft stools, poor coat condition, no good except the senior formula for T which is a lot more expensive than the ALS formulas.

This is getting ridiculous.

Raw diet is not all that bad, I struggle with finding good affordable foods. For multiple dogs it isn't cheap to get a 40 lb bag of good food, i have found one now that is decent, but just one sort of the line prooved good to me, still the stool is a little grainy, but it keeps the dogs in very good condition. It is Diamond naturals Extreme athlet, others bags of this food, make runny poo and the energie level is not very good.My current try out is "Native, will testrun this towards the end of the week, see how they do with it. But it costs too 40 dollars.

My two inside get raw, and when you close to greyhound areas, there are some suppliers, that sell frozen stuff. It is pretty good, they even have puppy formulas, but yes you have to have a freezer, but this is the best. I refrained from too many veggies and kinda got back to the basics. Some meatlockers even pack scrapmeat for dogpeple, you may ask, and this can be very cheap! Used to get 15lb for 2 dollars, before i have moved. Can't beat this!

Perfect food does not exist, it depends from dog to dog, what is best. RC Canine is a good food, though i hope they removed the corn, I used to feed it, and it didn't go over very well with my girls, itchy paws and upset somach before the heat, since i feed raw no problems, same went for earproblems. Ultimative food really is back to the basics! And that needs stored.

Lots of dogfood creates skin problems, haven't found the ideal one ,yet.
