I know in our State[PA] its illegal to sell pups under 8 weeks of age, 6 weeks is too young to sell and with that price it sure doesn't sound like a breeder I would want to buy from especially if they are selling at 6 weeks old! Sounds like YOU need to do more training with your Jerland Farm dog not sending to a trainer and expecting miracles.  It takes work on the part of the owner to get the behaviors you want from your dog.  As for worms most pups have them the ear infection is something they should have noticed but again not the end of the world.

considering the best dog i ever had was a $25 humane society, lop-eared lab/gsd/husky mix, i really expected a $500 dog would be really really great. my  current gsd was $1,275 plus tax. she is a great dog, but no better in smarts than my $25 humane society dog was. healthwise, my humane society dog was sound, good hips, great overall health until i lost her to cancer at age 8. i never encountered hot spots or ear infections until i had purebred gsds.
i have learned that what matters is not what you pay for the dog, or what it is thought to be valued at by other knowledgeable people, but how the dog responds to you, and what your close friends think of the dog.
at least that's what i think.
