AKGeorgias mom

Having read some of the threads on breeding and pedigrees, I decided I need to learn more!  This is for learning purposes only - my girl is spayed and I could never breed because I would want to keep all of the puppies.  I am a sucker for puppies!

Georgia was rehomed with me by her breeder (first owner let her run wild) and we've been working through behavior issues from not having structure as a young dog.  She is awesome at tracking, has good ball and play drive, and we're working on the obedience.  We've spent a lot of time working on focus, so we haven't really started bitework yet.

Comments would be appreciated in terms of what kind of dogs come out of these lines - I have looked quite a bit into Zygo and Zidane vom haus Sevens since that info was easy for me to find.

wow...very nice pedigree,my take is that this is a typical well-bred working dog, with many greats of the breed backing her up.the fact that she ran around on her own for much of the imprinting/development period probably didn't help any as far as actually living with the dog.however,in general most females(not all) from these types of breedings tend to be hyper, sharp and nervey...so to quote "you know who"...."rules,boundaries,limitations"!!!! i've been within inches around ZIDANE a few times.....power,power,power!! not just in the way he works, but in his overall demeanor...a real dominate brute, who doesn't need to show it...it just radiates from his being...is he the ultimate producer, time will tell, but i figure as a stud he's as viable as any other high profile stud available in the states.

She's actually easy to live with in the house - a real sweetheart with her family.  She also knows who is a threat and who isn't.  Our neighbors across the street had their adult son move in, and Georgia would bark and growl at him even though she doesn't usually do that unless someone actually comes up to the house.  It turns out he is a convicted sex offender with a history of stuff against kids.

Much of our training has been foundation in focus and attention in order to overcome her early upbringing.

Opal, Your dog has a great working ped. I think I remember hearing about her on Landis's web site.
