What type of surface is the table? I would think something that is not slick? One of the first photos looks almost like stainless steel or plastic [hard for me to tell] the last one looks like it would not be a slick surface at all, I would think for the safety of the dog is would be a surface they couldn't slide around on? Just wondering lots of good reading ahead tonight Thanks Steve!

A short indoor/outdoor carpet works well for a table....you are exactly right that you do not want a slick surface!
