Hello missbeeb,

Kenan  said "So she turned last in one show, who cares."

And I say, everybody should care every sunday everywhere. week by week, month by month, year after year judges place dogs out of political, financial and what ever reason wich have nothing to do with teh quality of dogs they judge, this must have an end.

I don't need Ludwig or other judges to breed a good dog, but a lot of people have to learn. The SV lost 40.000 members, what do you think are the reasons?

Yes, I know what you mean but I think Kenan just meant for you not to feel down about it because she's a lovely bitch and her time will come.

We've all experienced / seen poor and dishonest judging but I think (hope?) the majority are pretty straight... there are some who really wouldn't know a good dog if it bit them on the bum!

As for the SV losing 40,000 members... I didn't know that they had and I don't know why... sorry!

I think your bitch is very nice, with plenty of maturing to do.

If you are going to get the hump everytime she gets placed down the line, then I would give up now!  If you have no faith in the judges, then why waste your money entering shows, if you think you know the outcome? Negativity and the pong of sour grapes! Have fun, I always took home the best dog on the showground after each show, my own dog!

Lighten up, and give your bitch time to mature, and fill out and firm up, then go back in the ring and enjoy? And dont expect to lose every time, or you will!

"So she turned last in one show, who cares."

Next time she will placed last cause she was placed last the week before....

A good dog has to stay a good dog.

Well, I would say that: "good dog has a potential to become an excellent dog."

I consider myself to be the best critic of MY dogs for the simple reason : I stopped lying to myself. If I am satisfied with my dog I deffinitely will not let politics to spoil it fr me.Personally, I think that you have a very nice dog. All she needs now is to be given time to mature and she deffinitely doesn't need you to get discouraged. Dogs change signifficantly in just a few monts.  I do not like dogs that are "finished" when they are young. They reach their peak when 9-12 monts old , after that they are nowhere. She may yet surprise you when she matures.  All the best.
