NO disrespect intended. I just have been thinking about paying for his stud service and did not know anything about his bitework.

I wouldn't say that he has the "best" bitework around, but it is not bad. His progeny are coming along great in this respect. He produces beatiful puppies. Drives are great on a majority of them and they are real people dogs. I personally will be using him again as I loved the results from my female.

he was at the 2007 USA Seiger Show, which was videoed and on Youtube. You can find him there and see for yourself.

Molly, are you referring to the 2008 Sieger Show this March? I didn't know if he was in the 2007 show but at this year's event he got VA8 despite coming off the sleeve during the stick hits. Well, at least his puppies are "beautiful." LOL

sorry, yes the 2008 Seiger Show - the one that was taped. No comment on his bitework, anyone can see for themselves. But he certainly wasn't the only one who didn't do "so hot" and still got "pronounced". Oh well. Good for the poster, to ask and see for himself before breeding, if the protection is important to him (which IMO it should be)

Thank everyones reply. I saw Albert and he was a beautiful GSD...A little on the heavy side but his color is nice. His head and mask really shows his pigment. But I remember him not biting too well in the past years but was not sure if it was a hereditary thing or man caused. If it is man caused then I can work with that. I have been following his progeny very closely and they seem to be doing very well in both show and bitework. I saw some of his progeny at the NASS 2008 in Kentucky. (Impressive).

here you go with the video and article by Leerburg's Ed Frawley: http://leerburg.com/sieger2.htm
The dog you are asking about was a "Sieger" with "pronounced" V rating and he won this whole "show". When I watched the video my only thouht was: "Look at this fat bastard trying to bite a sleeve and kind of biting it..."
