I would like to make a clarification that was just brought to my attention.  The National Training Seminar scheduled for November 15th and 16th in New Jersey does not require a WDA membership.  This Seminar is open to ALL who would like to attend.  Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you there.

That was one of the things that turned me off as soon as I saw the ad. Maybe I am nuts but I have never seen or been to a seminar were the spectators paid the same as the people who brought their dog with them.

Spectators usually pay a reduced rate, sometimes only a third of what is paid by those participating with a dog.

There on to a good thing charging $100 to look at this seminar. I now realise just how lucky i am with the Belgian team Captain and a World Qualified Schutzund Judge as my Tutor most times two and three times a week, and it does not cost me one cent

if you guys would like to participate at the training seminar then you wouldn't have to worry about the spectator fee.  i'm not sure why people on this board are always so negative, and try to discourage others from having a good time and possibly learning something.

or maybe you think you won't learn anything from Wallace, Karoly, or Phil?  do you compete on their level with your dogs?  Karoly just took 1st place at the WUSV.  i'd say that's a hell of an accomplishment...are you going to tell me he just had a lucky day?

And I hope all the newbies are reading this as well, because no one is going to help you accomplish something they haven't accomplished themselves before.

And on a side note, seminars with top trainers usually go for $100 per day.  So I would say $100 for a 2-day seminar with 3 top trainers, meals and a banquet included, is a pretty good deal.  Take advantage of it.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email WDANationalTrainingSem@yahoo.com

thank you and have a great day!

I have been to a couple of seminars and was charged $75 a day as a spectator at two of them. $100 for both days and a meal included is a great deal... especially having three of the top SchH trainers in the country seals the deal.

I am going to try to enter a dog or two. Must get that done today I guess. I totally can't afford another event so close to KY last weekend, hotel room is definitely out, but I'd hate to see this cool event disappear after the first year for lack of participation. Maybe I know someone near-by with sofa-space. LOL
