The year 1986 and the first Scottish Two Day Show held in Ayr. Class Junior Bitch won by Jacnel Nacale (39 in class) who took her 3rd CC the following day. Note the young Rudiger Mai as judge, a young Terry Hannan handling, in the background Neil Dodds and Brigid Fahy (now Newlands) both of which dont seem to look any older now!! Also spot the black bearded guy between the two stewards, yes it is Davy Hall. Paul Bradley is brushing his face with his arm and I think the bald headed man behind him is Sean Kinsella though I am well prepared to stand corrected. Can anybody recognise anyone else?

Regards

The Year 1999 - Irish Two Day Show held at Magheramourne in Larne - Kassieger Mardi Gra leading the Puppy Dog Class (15 in class) handled by a young Craig Rice, with a younger Joe Summerhill handling who I believe was Shotaan Nutz who was obviously in 2nd Place at the time Jack Oliver took this photo though he ended up in 5th and 2nd went to another Voko Monchberg son Corjon Scott at Korzwin owners Linda and Keith given away by the trailing affix. Perhaps he was the one shown in 3rd in this photo, sure Linda B will be able to tell us for certain. Think the lady to the left in the sunglasses is Margaret Lee.

Same Two Day at the end of the Class, a younger Victor McGuigan stewarding , Judge Herr Bernhard Norda and notice the white legged , blue capped Danny Wilson deep in thought. Think I can even spot Sharon Bowen to the right in a white shirt, am I right Sharon, is that you? Actually just noticed I am on the photo too, the red teashirt directly to the left and behind Danny. Do you know I have had this photo all these years and had never noticed that before.

Regards

Sue

Above  1988 GSD League Two Day Show at Weston Park. Kassieger Porsche 3rd in SpY Bitch (38 in class), put this photo in for two reasons , firstly because it was taken by Pidge Holland, who remembers the lovely Pidge? And secondly because of the crossed legged handler looking as if he is about to courtsey is Derek Ashton, I have seen his X wife Gill occasionally but not seen Derek for approx 15 + years.

The year 1990 GSD League Two Day Show at Weston Park. Photo of 1st Spy Dog - Kassieger Taboo (29 in class)owned by a lovely couple called Jim and Jean Thomas who lived in Kington, Hereford with their two young daughters (Taboo was litter brother to Ch.Kassieger Tamil).  With a young family to support they never could afford to be big show goers but they always turned up to the Two Day shows at Weston or to any  Champ shows held in Wales. Sadly not seen or heard from them since 1996.

Regards

Sue
