I use all three, and alternate according to where I am when pay day  comes...Use extra virgin olive oil every day and I like the wild alaska salmon oil...All of it stinks but my dogs eat it well because there is raw meat involved..if no meat I run the bowl  under the =hot water faucet real fast and stir like gravey and they gulp it down...

I made a mistake one night and had a bowl of my chinese, sitting on the kitchen drainboard when I cut the capsule and not paying any attention..dumped it in my chinese...I almost lost it and ruined my meal.....I laughed so hard I got over being hungry because my stomach hurt too much to eat...

Who knows, who cares, mine eat the caps ok.

Olive Oil does not have the same properties as Fish Oil they are not necessarily interchangeable; depends on the reason you are giving the oil an what results you are expecting.

I've never had a problem - I use the gel caps and just put them in their food. They also get fish (salmon, mackerel or sardines) twice a week and love it..........

My three love fish too. Sardines, Mackerel, Pilchards, Tuna. I give them fish a few times a week and they wolf it down. My female isn't fussed on Salmon though, so I don't buy Salmon.

Fish oil (not fish liver oil) is for long-chain Omega-3, EPA and DHA.

Olive oil is for monounsaturated, and Omega-6, LA.

Buried in raw beef, they don't seem to notice it at all. It's kinda funny-you can bury a dog vitamin, couple of vitamin C, fish oil capsule, brewer's yeast pill, and they don't notice it a bit. lol.

Like Sue I add Pharmaceutical grade Wild Salmon Oil (Alaskan, refrigerated) along with Olewo to his food. He eats his food a million miles an hours, every drop.

I also add cold pressed flax oil (also refrigerated) to some yogurt for a little evening snack, which he also devours.

I put a squirt of Salmon Oil on the Kibble shake it up and add a Vit E Capsule they eat it with no trouble I then put Hokamix Joint on to the salmon oil kibble and shake only this on the morning feed. the evening feed is just dry Kibble

The total amount of food i give on a daily basis is split into a morning and evening feed never is the Dog full and no problems with Bloat etc or a Full up Dog which cannot move

I think myself it gives the digestion a bit less work than one feed a day, just my way of feeding

I use The Wholistic Pets wied seep sea salmon oil aalso mix in Orijen 6 fish formula with their regular Orijen kibble.

My dogs love salmon a couple of times a week I add a can of salmon in water to their food.

What is olewo & hokamix joint?  I give Vit. E gels in their food in the morning and I alternate salmon oil & Omega fish oil gels on their food in the evening.  They get 2/3rds kibble and 1/3 raw, hamburger in the morning & chicken necks or backs at night.  Where do you get the gallon of salmon oil from?  With 6 dogs I try to buy in bulk.  The have their own fridge.  God help me if it breaks down, I have a lot of frozen meats for them in there.
