Art, thank you for that. I seldom go to Ed Frawley's site and read the threads there. It's not that I do not like the site, it's just that I as everyone have limited time. I think that Ed is making a serious statement with his post; that essentially he is tossing in the towel afer many years of support. I have been a member of U.S.c.A. for many years and can remember when unsportsmanlike conduct was quickly addressed and corrective/disciplinary measures applied. The Gary Hanrahan issue was "swept under the carpet" so to speak and this has caused a lot of ill will among many members.
Me? I will remain a member as I insist on change. And the only way to make that change is to stick it out and place new officers on the General Board. Several of Lyle Rotemeyer's decisions or lack of thereof leadership of the organization have disappointed me on more than one (1) occassion. Lyle does not make the rules, change the rules, etc.-that is the role of the General Board. But he does preside over the board and he is supposed to provide direction.
So, all that I can say to fellow U.S.c.A. members is to vote for change when the ballots appear. We all know of people who we prefer to see on the various positions of the Board, but it has to be a person who has the resources that allow them to attend the meetings.
Vote!

USA needs new blood in the top and I hope anyone but Lyle will get the Election. They need somone fair and balanced in this position. Gary Hanrahan has long controlled USA no matter who is in office.everyone in the sport knows that. . Things need to change I know several people who have not renewed dues and others who are thinking of quitting USA because of the recent events involving Erics treatment. Schutzhund is a wonderful sport but it has become very dirty here in our region. I know this, if they do not clean house at USA they will be folding. They had the chance to do something had the evidence and complaints but they did not have the guts to do what is right.

Good riddance on Frawley. He has been badmouthing USA for years. For a man that has never won a trial, does not trial, nor had any of his dogs win a trial, he sure shoots off his mouth a lot. The organization is improved without him as a member.
As for the matter mentioned in his letter, it went through a court trial in Al. recently and Mr. Hanrahan was 100% exonerated and Mr. Eisenberg admitted under oath that the charges and statements he had made on the internet were false as were the information and charges against Mr Hanrahan he had made to USA. To me Mr. Eisenberg is fortunate to have not been booted from the World Team and maybe even USA as I would imagine the BOI and Board would not have been too happy when they found out his accusations were not true. I would suggest to Marlene and others that you check the facts that came out at the trial before you make any more comments about matters that you do not have the facts about but have only the comments of Mr. Eisenberg to guide you. Notice he has not been back on since the trial. On the other hand, I commend Mr. Hanrahan for not lowering himself to Mr. Eisenberg's level and that of his supporters who argued their case on the internet but lost in court when testimony about what happened had to be given in court under oath.
That is all.

Alaman, I understand clearly what you are saying, but unsportsmanlike conduct is unsportsmanlike conduct-regardless of who does it, why it is done, where it is done, etc.. And with that I will stop comment on the issue.

Bob, there was a very valid reason for Mr. Hanrahan's actions. What seems like unsportsmanship was not in fact unsportsmanship. Rest assured you would have done the same under the exact facts as they came out under oath, whether you think so or not. This was also covered at the trial.. All is not what it seems on a video and as I said long ago, the facts of what happened and why are different than what many were led to believe as Mr Eisenberg had to admit under oath.
USA did not act to "protect a good old boy network" but waited to act on what the trial revealed which was the prudent thing to do and then made the correct decision. Again, rest assured, you would have decided the same as the BOI and Board as well as Mr. Hanrahan if you had the facts they did.
Interestingly, no one seems to want to condemn Mr. Eisenberg for all his false statements on the internet, made up srories, and misleading the BOI and Board but I guess that is life.

gARAY Hanrahan is a liar and never tells the truth and has bullied the sport for years...WHOEVE ALAMAN is knows nothing of the tyrant that GH has been a part of and never will..The people involved with his battering dont want any more of this sport and have turned to other things in their life...
I was on the other end of that battering and I dont even participate in his area..nor his state..I feel sorry for the owners of Bastin and Pirol and all the other people who put money in GH pocket who took his abuse....So dont come here trying to say he had a right to act like an Asshole and and idiot in front of a German judge and replay the day he hit a german judge in the face in a bar , ...it is unsportsmanlike conduct and does not give him the right to do such horrible acts and get by with it...If you or I did such , we would be run out of the sport and our names barred from the sport for ever...Now dispute that..

Yellow Rose, I know your story and you are FOS. You blame him for your own mistakes and inability to reach agreement with the seller of a dog that he did not own but simply let you know had puppies for sale when you contacted him looking for a Bastin puppy. Your own temper, just like you just showed, made that owners boyfriend chew your butt out and tell you to stuff it when the owner was willing to resolve the problem, asking only that you provide a written statement from your vet which you didn't do..You blame someone else for your own mistake

Your full of bullshit and shinola , and why dont you post your name instead of hiding behind an alias..You got all the facts wrong sonny boy...I have a contract signed and Canine concepts sold me the dog and signed the check and it was deposited in their bank account ...They were the agents selling the puppies..they put the ad in the schutzhund magazine and they sold the pups..I was there, remember and excuse me sir,,,the vet mailed them a cd of the hips and also was refused and never would sign the letter or the package with the content in it...You must be one of Gary's groupies and come on ., post your name..You know what mine is,,,so get out behind your wrong info posting..I have the proof right here..
The whoever boyfriend never saw me , talked to me nor even knew what Miss Joyce was doing...She never showed her face either. My contract was signed and drawn up by Pam Hanarahan and they deposited my check made out to them..
Now to prove how stupid you are,, I didnt buy a Bastin puppy,, I bought a Pirol /Cassie v Steffen-Haus puppy.
I made no mistakes , i bought a puppy from Gary and Pam and they told me I had to take their word for it , they were acting in Joyce Terrells behalf and she is one who scammed Eric out of 10 grand also..so put that b in your bonnet..you know nothing and have been filled with lies from Gary , in the first place...see how stupid you are.
