Still waiting for the answer to my question about what is in the box lunch

I'm sure the box lunch will be super. I think its a really nice touch myself! I'll take a good sandwich over the usual Sam's club hamburgers and tracking-bait hot dogs typically offered at dog events any day.

Not to be a "nay-sayer,"  but a "national training seminar" that is only 2 days?  And the second day a trial is scheduled?  I know that Phil used to have "schutzhund camps" that lasted a week or so and I understand that people got a whole lot out of those.   Personally, I would love to train at a week-long seminar with Wallace, Dean C the Vollraths, Gary Hanrahan and Debbie Zappia.  Tell me I wouldn't get my money's worth from that, even if they didn't feed me!  LOL

Nia, I would go with for one of those seminars!    Let's do one as a club fund raiser.

Wouldn't it be COOOOL??   As most of the folks in schutzhund clubs are female, doesn't it make sense to have a handling/OB seminar from a female competitor?   Zappia would be a draw, but I'd really prefer Claudia Romard, or even "our own" Pat Brown-John in BC.

Let's talk Sunday about a trial run /mini version just for our club and friends with some of our Canadian friends/competitors, like Pat, and bring in Claudia.   We'd have to have Les for tracking, though!!

Les for tracking, AGREED!  I won't be there Sunday, hand still healing from surgery and as you know I need BOTH hands to handle my girly dogs.      I'll be camped out there starting Wednesday for the championship though.  We'll talk then.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread.....

Phil's schutzhund camp is the week before. Are you going, Nia?  I can't go. Too much money and time.

Count me in. Dog (youngster) TBA. I wish they would let me bring two. Expect at least 2-3 very good representational  entries from Bosen Kinder Hundesport!

Personally, I would love to train at a week-long seminar with Wallace, Dean C the Vollraths, Gary Hanrahan and Debbie Zappia.

All you have to do is call them. Be sure you have a few thousand in your account. Seminars rarely break even. Not many people can take off work long enough for a week long seminar. Its all most of us can do to take a couple of days.
