What a stunning choice! The race has surely begun. What do you think of McCain's choice, a GOP conservative woman like Sarah Palin, the current Governor of Alaska— what about her experience and what she brings to his table vs. the Obama/Biden ticket delivered by the Democrats?

Personally, I think his move is a stroke of brilliance and daring. Oh, and we all get to watch what fun will soon begin.

It will be interesting to watch how everything unfolds.  As an Alaskan, it's very exciting.  She has always been very straightforward and has done what she says she's going to do (unusualy for ANY politician).  She's made a lot of changes as governor to save the state money, such as unloading the private jet, not maintaining staff at the governor's mansion when the family is not in residence (our legislative session is only 90 days).

I like her and will now vote for McCain because of her. She is one sharp lady that seems to be level headed and tons of common sense. SHe knows what she believes and does not mind challenging the status Quo and does not just go along with the flow.

Have done alittle research on her and so far EXCELLENT!

Just a few thoughts..........

Sarah Palin started her political career in a small town.

Barack Obama started his political career in the home of a domestic terrorist bomber.

Sarah "Barracuda" Palin to be his Veep was a stroke of genius. He accomplished 4 things at once.

1. He stole NoBama's thunder.

2. He shored up McCain's conservative base.

3. He may very well pick up some of the female votes from former Hitlery supporters.

4. (And this is really good.) It made the people in the NoBama camp literally crap bricks...as you can see by their kneejerk reaction of saying that Palin doesn't have any experience. (Hello kettle...this is the pot)

This Palin pick in addition to McCain's flawless ad campaign is just too sweet! Keep it up Johnny Mac

Well, I like Palin because she turned down a million dollars to pose naked for Penthouse magazine, LOL.

Good thing she turned the money down or she would never be running for VP!!

She is still a politician, and I saw that she is being investigated for the firing of a hwy patrol officer, one that divorced her sister, or sister-in-law.

She is a pretty tough lady though Iike that about her!!
