A Reminder:

www.gsdbbr.org

The GSDBBR is open to all owners of Registered German Shepherd Dogs, worldwide, that have titled dogs or dogs within 5 generations of their dog's pedigree that are progeny/ littermates of these titled dogs. German Shepherd Dogs entered upon this database must comply with their country's breed standard, or be the progeny of a breeding of 2 German Shepherd Dogs, both of which comply with the breed standard. This registry will house information pertaining to German Shepherd Dogs, both alive and deceased, as well as a database for stud dogs with frozen/chilled semen available. This registry is fully searchable! You may only post information about a dog you own!

This Registry has been created in an attempt to gather comprehensive health information which will enable breeders to make more informed breeding choices and to avoid doubling up on health issues. This registry also records healthy animals- save your confirmation email to update throughout the years.

We thank all who will participate in this Registry for caring enough to want to take a proactive role in bettering the health of the breed. Together, we CAN make a difference!

I plan to enter both of my GSD's too, Tigermouse.  My first is entered in Heaven's Gate. Sadly I lost him to leukemia when he was only 7 1/2 years old. I agree, it's a great project and I will be happy to particpate in it.

Cheers to Marj for getting it all up and running.

The breed thanks you both :) It would be nice, to open the door into the *rose garden*.

Footfalls echo in the memory
Down the passage which we did not take
Towards the door we never opened
Into the rose-garden..

What country is BVA from? Can you email me or private message me, as to what I would need to add this to the GSDBBR- Is it a number- would I use drop down box for it or is it an indiviual number?I will have it added to the GSDBBR, once I know what it looks like so I can provide the correct space. In the meantime- you can add it to the comment box. Keep your confirmation email and once it is added, you can go back and oput it in the space that will be provided for BVA scores.

hi the BVA is from the UK (British veterinary association) the results are taken with a score from each hip/elbow the UK average is 19

my bitches results read as follows 4/5 total 9 the BVA has a website i will try to post a link later

i think you will need to put a box for the left score and the right and a final box for the total

i can scan a copy of my certificate if that will help you

kind regards and thank you again for doing this your a star
