Who do you guys think some of the top WORKING LINE stud dogs are in North America. You can name as many as you like and I will start off by naming Zidane vom Haus Sevens

Any dog you guys like, don't be shy! In the U.S or Canada.

Just curious ..What is your definition of a top stud? How many breedings the dog gets or how well over the test of time he produces with a prepotence for the desired traits he is supposed to be offering and improving upon?

I have two Zidane Vom Haus Sevens sons, one 10 months and one 4 months, both amazing working pups in all phases for such young ages.  Great trainability, super tracking, very balanced drives.  Love his lines.

Well I would not base it on amount of progeny, because one not so nice dog could have breen bred 100 times, and it does not mean he is a good dog. It is up to yourselves however to base it on whatever you think makes the dog a worthy stud. This is whatever the people think.

Nathan vom Fegelhof...

One of top national (USA) Schutzhund  competitors.  Nathan has very stong male characteristics and tends to throw them out to his progeny.  Also passes along strong working drives.  I will be breeding my female to him someday.

im pretty new to this, but i come from the horse world and understand most stuff in pedigrees. so im going to take a crack at this. my personal faves are eick von der berger hochberg, kway vom posthorn, endy oberhausener kreuz. those are my favorite provens. my up and coming on the watchlist are bill kullas dog arrek, hillview kennels dog atze, jeff rentzs dog aragon, and nero vom crosswind at schattendal. nero was 5 years old before he started producing. so might be too late to get to him when he becomes established. also i like lex vom klietzer see in kansas. just a short list.

Two Moons, if you were to breed a bitch right now, which stud(from north america) would you use? Which dog is being studded out to the most right now? I didn't think it was that difficult of a question, it is just a matter of opinion, which studs out there do you like.

Another one I like is Eick von der berger hochburg

thank's bobby, that's a good list :)
