that dog  -  was sold  to the owner  by me-  with  a  minor adoption fee-     $250.00  per dog)  as  he was   going to  train them for  police  work. 

** also   in our contract  i was to  recieve   up to 2 pups  from either dogs   liter when they were proven.

( for the same anmount $250.00 each.)

  the dog is not  fully paid for -  ( imagine that ) and  teh final payment made on  this dog  was  reversed   ( via paypal )  from thebuyer.  -  so  in fact he paid me & then took teh money BACK, 

-  and  dog   was never ofa'ed ( not hips OR elbows)  as well as he starting having   his  joints popping in  his  feet or legs -  (  unknown why) but  teh  owner  was "concerned " but lacked funds to  find out what was wrong with the dogs joints.

  while in my care I  never noticed anything wrong with the dogs  joints OR any popping sounds.

 The owner  bred te dog to a 2 yr old female ( also not  ofa'ed)  and is selling pups  for  $1200.00

 a few questions ...

  since i was  not paid in full for the dog-   do i have any  legal recourse?

now teh dog has a litter  -   do i have  recourse to   buy teh pup(s)  as  contracted , as  teh owner neglected to TELL me there was a litter-  and  -  i  only found out  via  hoobly ad  ...

 2-  how did he change the dogs name? ?? the akc papers  have the same NUMBER   but  the  name  is  NOT the  dogs REGISTERED name. teh dog was registered  BY teh breeder  with thebreeders NAME :

  the dog was  known as  "BOB VOM KLOAKENWASSER" ON his AKC registration.

I thought once a dog was registered  -  there was NO changing that name?  is that  incorrect?

any thoughs  OR  ideas   what I can do ?

If you have pictures of dog. If dog has any tatoo that you have documented with vet.

You could try taking him to civil court with paperwork on how they reversed the paypal payment.

As far as AKC I don't know if he can change the name. With SV I don't believe you can.

Good luck sounds like real trouble.

Akc has changed their ruling on name changes.  As long as the dog has no points in any of their competitions or has never beed bred their name can be changed.

Naming of Dogs

The name of an AKC registered dog may be changed provided the dog was whelped in the United States.
Further, in cases where the litter owner(s) first individually registered the dog, the litter owner(s) written consent shall be required. A dog name containing a Registered Kennel Name cannot be changed without the written consent of the owner(s) of that Registered Kennel Name. However, no change in name will be recorded by the American Kennel Club after the dog has produced or sired an AKC registered litter or has received an award at an AKC-licensed or member event. Any name change must comply with all AKC requirements.

I would love to share with the people of this database the PM's that went back between myself and his breeder when you had him up for sale.  I know you run a "rescue" and that you told the breeder that the owners gave the dog to you.  You than turn around and "adopt" him out, unneutered and asking for 2 pups back?  Excuse me while I have no pity that you got screwed.  I have watched you over the years go through dog after dog.  This takes the cake.

 - T racy ,  I never had a beef with  you , NOR did i think you had one with me.  so your passive aggressive   comments   are rather   un called for -  ( i have seen  many of your posts here  &  noticed   the newbies you  pick on &  teh   regulars  that you kiss ass  all over-  no wonder  people re afrid to post heer !  i have seen  nasty comments & attack after attck. i posted  in desperation.

 if you have seen me  go THROUGH  "dog  after  dog"    please feel free to list them, and what ever i did that YOU consider  not proper.  any dogs  i  bought or acquired that  couldn't cut the work i needed them to do  were rehomed  -  like you did with rio-  only i  seem to be a bit more picky  WHO  gets the dog.

and ALL were altered except these 2  for  a REASON... explained below...

**Should we start with you  telling me  due to RIO's  lack of  socialization  &  severe animal aggression,   that if  she  couldnt live in a home that was doing active rescue ; you wanted her back - and  when   that day came, after she was killing  dogs cats   anything she could get a hold of-   you   refused to take her back? how many times did i call you for  help  advise OR finally to   take her back as you  promised ( seems  your  not one for  sticking to your word  as  you NEVER  took her back  &  stopped all communications  with me)   She actually jumped OUT of my UPSTAIRS  window  on to the roof   and ran the  roof  jumped into the neighbors fenced  yard & killed their  husky!   any  clue what fixing that mess cost me?

* IN fact  why not tell  about  who you sold  RIO TO?   the guy that kept that poor  young GSD  in a  6x6X4 outdoor    pen from the day he GOT her with NO socialization,  NO love affection , no exercise-  she had NO muscle tone when i got her at all - her  coat was a disaster , her nails were so over grown, and she  got  to watch him  play with his  grandkids &  his HOUSE DOG  daily in that yard - RIO    was YOUR dog & yu sold her to a man that RUINED her.  -  SO at LEAST  I made sure the  dogs I gave up  were going to be  SAFE -  even if the dude is screwing me over  for money-  he TAKES care of the dogs  & they get the exercise & training  reqquired  for there needs.

point i s - these dogs were IN teh car on teh way to teh pound -  i told teh owners  to bringthem to me  & i would temp test them to  try to KEEP them out of teh pound-  they wouldnt have shown well ether &  most  liked  died  there .

  they were  LEGALLY SURRENDERED TO ME IN WRITING.

do you need to see teh surrender form? teh breeder was pissed  he  didnt get them back-  teh owners  claim they tried to reach him  several times  & got  no reply, who  is lying? dunno  dont care.

   I tried at FIRST to adopt them  intraditional  rescue fashion, they were too wild too hyper  too hard &  far too much prey drive for ANYONE that  camme to see them,    they needed a JOB, TRAINING & a working home  with an owner that was VERY experienced -  which they GOT>

  after i took them in I closed -  i was gOING to  home  ONE  & keep teh other -  teh  one i tried to home ATE teh ladys HOUSE  & was returned -  and  i am still paying her   co pay on teh damage done by Bear  to here home , furniture walls  -  teh 3 crates he busted out of & destroyed  ...

 anyway  -  i had teh dogs ( in play)  both  jump me  tearing my rotor cuf in my right arm- i am right handed.

  i had to  find them a home STAT

   teh WORKING dog PPL that wanted them - didnt want them  ALTERED

   so  i could have  neutered them-  and they woudl have never gotten a decent WORKING HOME ( how many  neutered  dogs  do YOU buy  or adopt  tracy?)

  -  esp at that age??

   The  man that bought them  - sold bear to teh training facility he works for - and BEAR is now in training as a duel  purpose  police K9 and doin g very well-  this man also got attached to  viggo  ( as did  I )  even though bear  was  "physically " teh better standard of teh 2. Viggo had a great  personality.

  *  point is BOTH dogs are  working  , getting attention , love  TRAINING  & will have a LIFE & a JOB.

  i am just pissed about him  backing out on teh final payment.

  * which was paid today as soon as my attorney sent him a letter yesterday.

  she is LOVED  a house dog -  and  i get  to visit her often as teh owner   wanted me to be able to stay  in touch with  RIO sh eKNEW i loved that dog.

 THEY  do not have other pets  &  we taught them how to  control her on leash around   animals , and they have a  huge  8 ft  privacy fence & sheis never out unattended.
