Good DH, glad to hear that, back 100%yet or still a little blah?

by D.H. on 28 November 2004 - 05:11

Hi Peter yes, some K9 outfits would probably appreciate a dog like that. Most K9 trainers are much better equipped to handle this pup.

charlie -- that is ok -- i welcome your disagreement -- however -- i myself am very very well versed -- i am only giving feedback on a quick post -- yet i am trying to without seeing the total picture . .. i think this is the wrong dog for the wrong people .. but again ..my purpose just to stress .. is that this dog /PUP at that !! does NOT have to be put down -- goodness graciuos -- you want to euthanize a pup ??!! and as i stated even i cannot draw conclusion and make a definitve evaluation without seeing all the facts -- so how could any / another ?? ... plus -- with the right behavioral input this pup may indeed be helped . the ownwers have already failed themselves .. this surely has an impact and role too .-- ok don't say behavioral modification -- but in simple terms this dog can be for what i have understodd so far -- helped -- no it won't be helped without the right person and the right interaction and effort ..- and that also is pending the exact problem here .. - ok i val;uie that you arte an animal control officer -- have you ever rehabilitated a dog ?? have yopu nopt seen high hardness and highh overly agreesive adult dogs helped ?? well they can be in the right professional hands and the right owners .. -- wish you could have seen some situations that it has been the case .. - can't people be rehabilitated too ?? that is ok if you disagree -- pleasae try to understand -- i am trying to keep this dog alive --it is only 4 months old !! -- and it will be work ..

Alph, I'm not budging an inch on this one my friend.....lol. You side stepped my questions to you, of course you do not have to answer if you wish not too,What kind of doctor are you and would you sign off on any dog you have rehabed and put your profession on the line if you beleive so much in what you say? 2 very simple questions to answer.....

Cheers Again Charlie, Apart with spending too much time on Board, I'm great! You put a bit of effort into the above! We all know that, because of way-back heritage, dogs are at heart natural cowards, and bite/attack when threatened and unable to escape. Which backs your comment about most not wishing to stand up against a man etc. Still, this one might be natural maneater! I used to have one that liked to bite: used to go right up to it, grab it by the head, and then, with right hand, squeeze down hard on inside of lower jaw with thumb -like a scissor grip. Worked a treat, I tell ya! Better than all the mumbo psychological stuff! It got the message quick smart!

you know -- just thought to put this idea/ fact out -- a 4 mos old pup -- that is 16 to 20 week old pup -- to be euthanized ????-- and no one thinks this pup can be helped -- oh my God , oh my God !! -- what in the world would you do with a 3 year old agrressive GSD male here ??-- all that i can say is wow .. just wow -- no wonder the conversations are so much on breeding and showing >> i apologize for the sarcasm -- but anyone think we [ i believe without a doubt i can ] help this pup ![ 16 weeks !!] -- anyone ??
