It seems Eukanuba is really aggresively marketing new packaged products. Has anyone noticed visible difference in the quality of the food? Sales people are really aggressively marketing it against Royal Canin and Bento etc. They say it has better results with dogs.
Can people review this and comment?

Those sales people get paid a hefty salary to convince people of lots of things.
Like everyone here keeps saying,,,if you believe all that is written on a sack of dog food...,,,I'll sell you an Ocean Front piece of propert in Arizona...send me your application and its yours with small down payment... lol

Eukanuba along with Royal Canin are big companies thats in competition with each other. They will obviously bash each others dog food stating that theirs product are better and so forth. It's all for the money for these companies.
The big dog food companies are no better then the big pharmaceutical companies that's wanting to get everybody hooked on their drugs.
I wonder just how many vets out there are on the payroll of these big dog food industries? It's sad to see when you walk in a vets office to see a bunch of bags and cans of science diet dog food waiting for an uneducated gullible person with no knowledge of canine nutrition to buy a bag just because their vets tells them it's better for their dogs.

YES those people make tons of money, they have huge marketing dept's ---- but the quality is not there ( I don't think)
I believe in holistic food ... if interested you guys can check out our website for info on the food that we use (formulated and maintained by holistic veterinarian Dr. Bicks. They have had no problems in 10 years -- not affected by the recall etc.
Our website is: highlandergermanshepherds.com
There is also a link to the raw diet that Tracy Bullinger and her team has formulated and studied for years and years. It is called the common sense diet. Her dogs look wonderful. The only downside is the price of the shipping but it is wonderful!
Best Wishes and Good Luck,

I've had much better results with Eukanuba Sporting dog food than with Royal Canin, for all of my GSDs. Royal Canin used to be excellent until a large corporation bought it up, and it's gone rapidly downhill ever since. Eukanuba took a similar nosedive when it was bought up by a large corporation, but it seems to have recovered somewhat. It's still not as good as it used to be, but far better than Royal Canin. In its prime, it was the best dog food I ever used.
