Don Deleone inspired me to created a "Favorite Quotes" post! Please, list your favorite quotes, and the source, if you know them!

I'll start:

"Don't fear death, fear the unlived life"

                             -Walt Disney's "Tuck Everlasting"

“Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your HONOR."

Some attribute this to Mark Twain, other have it as unknown

von Hayden Sheps

"The highest courage is to dare to be yourself in the face of adversity. Choosing right over wrong, ethics over convenience, and the truth over popularity...these are the choices that measure your life. Travel the path of integrity without looking back, for there is never a wrong time to do the right the right thing."

This quote should hit base to anyone who dealt business with unethical people, especially dog brokers.

I have two favorites:

"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

Voltaire

"Love makes time pass; time makes love pass"

Origin not certain. It has been attributed to Euripides, an Italian proverb and a French saying

Being totally non-serious today:

From my favourite fridge magnet, from unknown sources:

Please clean your plate. The dog hates my cooking!

Overheard at trial practise:

Dog owner A: "WOW! MY dog's never done THAT!"

Dog owner B: "Well, if he does, I hope I'm around to see it, and laugh myself silly!"

One from my younger days: Wet saddle blankets make good horses!

My favorite training quote is

"One good correction is better than 100 weak ones" - Miriam Barkus

I participated in a Schutzhund obedience seminar hosted by my club with my first training dog, Jake a while back (before Zambi was born). Jake lashed out almost bit the SV Schutzhund Judges daughter (A child) without no reason and I instantly jumped up from my chair and gave Jake the most hardest correction (He had the prong on too) that anyone could ever imagine giving to their dogs. To the uneducated eyes it would be classified as animal abuse but the extreme hard correction was necessary and it fixed his child aggression as matter of that first session.

Jake showed no aggression towards children again. He now loves them.
