Damn it, once again the dog loses.

This has just depressed the hell out of me.

I just got home and got YRTs message. Yes, Delta called me this morning saying Amelia broke her kennel....the kennel that she was taken to the airport in was already cracked, so it was easy for her to push the door out. They will not ship her in the kennel. They did not have a working number for Windy. I gave them her cell and tried to call her myself, but no answer. I called Delta back and they said they had talked to her and she said she had to go to Austin to drop two dogs off somewhere else and would be back to pick Amelia up. I asked if I could buy a kennel but the airport does not stock them! I have left Windy a message asking if she can get a crate and take to the airport, I will gladly pay for it. At this point, I am getting concerned that Amelia won't be able to get on a flight today and may be stuck at the airport. Regardless, she is stuck until a new crate can be provided. If anyone can help, I would be forever grateful. The reference number I got for the flight when I booked it is 07633463. She was originally booked to fly from San Antonio, to Cincinnatti, to Roanoke, VA, but would now need to be flown to Tri Cities, TN. I think both of you should be put in crates and shipped to Siberia.

THIS DOG IS AFRAID OF AIRLINE AND AIR PLANE NOISE...SHE WILL NEVER STAY IN A CRATE , IM AFRAID   IT WILL HAVE TO HAVE  4 BUNGIES AND SHE CAN ALSO CHEW THEM OFF....

nEED INFO AS TO WHO TO TALK TO AT AIR PORT   AND WHICH AIR PORT IS IT   THEY WILL HAVE TO GET PERMISSION FROM WINDY SINCE SHE BILLED IT AND SHIPPED HER   TO LET SOMEONE  ELSE PIC THE DOG UP....

The crate was in disrepair to start with....she has been hauled many places in a crate and has never been able to get out. I feel sure that in a new, unbroken crate, such as a quality Vari Kennel, she will be fine to fly. Windy did not pay for shipping, as Amelia was to be sent COD.
