Abhay, we won't be seeing the fight live either as we have a graduation party to go to that night - DARN IT!   However, we will be recording it.  And my husband and both agree with you, Jens was too light in his fight with BJ.

You should be able to get VS, we have Directv also and get it.  If you go here: http://www.versus.com/faberpulver and go to the bottom of the page, you can type in your zipcode and it will show what channel VS is on in your area.  Good luck, because I believe you are right, it's going to be a war!! 

Colleen, You have proven two things today. (1) You are a Sweetheart, and (2) I am a Senile Idiot. I have had this Direct TV for 2 months now, and I had no idea, that I had any channels after the Movie channels in the 500's. I used the link you provided, and went to 603 and now find that I do indeed have the Versus Channel.

AIR, Check your PM's.  Calvin, You said it!  Had I known how pathetic the fights would be, I would have never started the thread.  Kimbo's promoters better go to the morgue for his next opponent.  A very poor example of a MMA fight, or any other type of fight for that matter.....The only real fighters of the whole night, were the gals.

Elite XC, should watch WEC. The WEC Championship Fight Card was on Versus, a few hours ago. The WEC Card was as good, as the Elite Card was bad.

Thanks Abhay, sometimes I have glorious moments of actually thinking of things other than puppies and dogs, which in itself is rare.  My husband tells everyone the dogs eat better than him, get more attention than him and that I miss them more than him when he's gone.  I keep telling him that's not true.

AND I agree Elite was HORRIBLE.  Robert and I went out to eat and to see a movie and recorded it, but since Elite ran over 45 minutes, we did not get to see the Kimbo fight, which may have been a blessing.  We did see the slug fest with Lawler and Smith and wished it hadn't been called, but fully understand why.  We don't care if we ever watch another Elite XC fight again, what a waste of time and the dancers-------whoa, really bad! 

But on another note, the Pulver/Faber fight on WEC was GREAT!  Robert went for Urijah while I pulled for Pulver and am thrilled that he gave Faber every bit as good as he got.  WOW, Urijah is lightening fast!  Hope they have a rematch, bet it would be just as good as their first fight.  We enjoyed it tremendously and now we're getting ready for the UFC fight this coming Saturday on PPV!
