I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good Siberian Husky breeding female. I know this doesn't have much to do with this site, but even the Huskies on the pedigree database have no for sale ads or anything. I use to breed them, but then got just went into German Shepherds. Does anyone know where I could find one, any suggested sites that might have them? They must be of breeding age, and have good temperaments, and be breeding quality. Sorry this is off topic for this site, but I figured some of you guys might be able to help.

I will offer this to you. If there is an A.K.C.-sanctioned dog show in your area, either go and meet some of the dogs and owners or look on the web to see who is registered to show that breed at that event. Usually, this information is available a few weeks or days before the show.
The last A.K.C. all-breed shows I attended were done by Jack Onifrio (spelling? Could be Onofrio) Dog Shows. Their website contained the show catalogue that listed the dogs and their owners.

Did ya google it? Google the breed and your area together. Most of the time, it helps. Good luck with it.

Hey thanks for the suggestions you guys. And Shepherd Woman, I googled, and searched and searched.....and searched haha. I've found two good prospects, the closest one being about 5 hours away, but she is willing to meet me half way. I've never really had any luck finding them in my area, or at least finding reputable people in my area. Thanks guys

Someone on this board...I think it was Blitzen...used to breed and show huskies. You might want to PM her. She has some pretty strong opinions about the breed, and how breedings strictly for the show ring has changed it, and not for the better.
