I do understand the components to the breed survey.
Can a dog get their V rating (for example) and then get a Breed Survey done at the same show (if all requirements are met?). Or are breed surveys typically done before the shows?

I did, but the breed survey was on Saturday and the the confo on Sunday. It was also several years ago, I'm a bit out of the loop these days!

It is possible that they had breed show and koerung the same day (i did not hear of any such thing happening, but it is possible). However, it is common practice that both events are not held on the same day, like KCzaja said. I assume that GSD is in question.

Yes, you can.
Our club hosts a Trial, Conformation Show and Breed Survey once a year with an SV judge. Trial is on Friday evening (if needed) and Saturday (sometimes we will have the AD early on Sunday morning). Conformation Show is on Sunday morning, and the Breed Survey is after a break for lunch following the Conformation Show.
