>Have a great day and I hope you find your dog to be a full bred boxer  but I would go to the boxer site to ask the questions about a boxer...

I have no doubt that the puppy is a boxer. The puppy now is now 6.5 months old and no papers. Pink flags have been raised by the breeder contradicting himself.
I can live with the fact that the puppy promised to me for 2 months was then diagnosed as being "too sick" and no longer available. A week or two later, through a phone conversation, I was told he was sent to France.
I asked the breeder for pics of this now grown pup and was told there were no pictures. (this breeder has hundreds of pics with his name scattered across the web)
Ideally, I would like to get in touch with the recipient of the pup - black with white between the eyes.

I have just sent my 2nd email to the MEOE, still waiting for an answer. The breeder does not answer my question as to which person he is dealing with in his attempt to get papers. Seems to me that someone with so many litters would have things worked out. That is why I am asking if the MEOE is problematic. Other people who may be in the same boat as me in regards to this breeder we should make this public knowledge.

This looks like a good place to bring attention to issues with breeders in the EU and share info. This messageboard has lots of traffic and seems to the one of the best, that is why I am posting here. As well, this Boxer breeder in Hungary appears to be well known and have ties with Germany.

BUGSEY, There are some European Boxer boards in Europe that might be useful for you.  If you are interested in that, send me a PM or email, and I'll get my Boxer friend from Germany to send me the Euro-Boxer board information that I can forward to you.  The European Boxer world is very small!  Veronica

Don't feel bad, I've got a female that's now a year old. No papers from Belgium.  Was told originally could take up to 4 months, then it was one thing after another.  Breeder couldn't contact belgium club, wouldn't repsond if they tried, was told belgium registry contacted them in December.  Emailed again a few days ago, still have heard nothing and still have no papers.  I did have her brother as well who I sold without papers.  But basically a pup I cant register does me no good.  Been waiting to get her hips done and can't do that either without papers.  Anyone know who to contact in Belgium??

UPDATE: Still not papers from Hungarian breeder. Pup is now 10 months old. Hungary MEOE does not answer emails.

Does anyone know if MEOE ever answers emails? My suspicion is that the pup may have come from a different litter that the one shown on their website. Can anyone explain why a Hungarian breeder with a top notch website and long specific breed history is unable to provide papers? What's going on? Thanks for listening.....Bugs

PS. Thanks for the info, he was skinny on arrival but my pup is starting to fill out, ever so slowly. I feed natural raw diet.

Any suggestions as to what could be added to fatten the boy up? Thanks!
