Old show lines - Page 1

Looking for the males of  "old"  show-lines including Canto Wienerau (without Fedor), Quanto Arminius (without Odin), Marko Cellerland, Cello Romerau.

"old" show lines like Mutz, Marko, etc are easier to find in working line dogs

Amigo Belgier / Frei Hirschel

Most of those dogs are so long dead they are hard to find in today's pedigrees. Ron and Ex Maineiche were linebred on VA Frei von der Gugge, 5, 5-5  and VA1 Marko Cellerland 3,4.   through awesome producers Jana and Xento Maineiche, still found in pedigrees today. Xento was linebred 5,5 Jalk and 5,5 VA Ajax Haus Dexel. 

Neck Maineiche was 5,4 VA2 Quanto Wienerau, 3,5 Marko.

Most people bred away from Canto because he was hemophiac, not known for producing much working ability, but not before nearly 5,000 dogs were produced line-bred on him... IMO Quanto was the better dog.

Aye! me has a 9yr old grandson of Cello. have some grt grandkids too aye. They be t' apple of me eye.

my dog angus has Quando, Quanto and Cello in his pedigree. he is listed as "angus von thinschmidt II" in the database. they are back 6 and 7 generations.
