Hi all
just got a 4 month puppy, he has pink nose will it be black later or it will remian pink?

NO, it will not change colour, and it's considered a fault. Even a white GSD is supposed to have a black nose!

if it was black before , it will be black again, its call "winter nose"

Its called SNOW NOSE and you can use Kiss my Face Hot Spots Stick with spf 30 for it or leave it be. Online or at any health food store. (usually)
YOu probably live in a colder area. Once they 've had it once as young pups, it goes away and never comes back in my dogs' case.

Lord, my pup had a pink nose when I first got him. His nose is black now. I can share pictures with you. Send me a picture of his nose.

like what was said before I don't think it'sanything to worry about. My dogs nose was originally black went a little lighter dark brown during his first winter(northern california) and than got black again. I would be curious to see a photo if it's a permanent pigment issue. I have never seen true pink noses on shepherds except for white ones..but that's just me.
