Diwali is the hindu festival of lights celebrated with much fervor in India. Although people light up their houses and their business interest with candles and illuminations of various forms, more importantly it signifies the lighting up of the inner self. May the darkness in all beings be gone and may all souls be illuminated with the light of a thousand Suns.
May this festival season bring peace happiness and joy to everyone's life.
Peace to the GSD fraternity.
Also remember to take your dogs out so that they get accustomed to bright illuminations and firecrackers.
cheers

What a charming celebration! I think we should add it to the Western repertoire.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
