Good morning everyone.  I'm new to this forum, but I have been watching this site for a while.  I've learned quite a bit, and bought my first german shepherd a little while back.  I  have a male Winner pup approx. 9 months old.  I read about Winner in an earlier post (Siegershow 2007 Speculation), and was wondering if those of you who have pups from Winner could share some info or photos with me.  I would just like to compare my pup with other Winner pups for my own learning purposes.  I am in no way looking to criticize anyone's dog.  I would just like to know about other pups' personalities, size, health problems (if any), where they are in training, etc.

If you would rather not post a reply, please feel free to email me at Liubov81@yahoo.com

Thank you :)

I've had my D-litter with Winner. They're 12 weeks tomorrow. We've kept one female out of the litter. She'll come to ringtraining for the first time tomorrow, so maybe we'll make pictures if the weather is nice. Litter pictures are on my homepage: http://www.zeltweg.kroonder.nl

She's very rude, but all females of this mother are. The males are very sweet, but that's also normal with this mother. Unfortunally all pups went to families except for the one we kept. I will receive pictures of those, but that won't be stacked pictures. One is in Canada, one in Germany and three in the Netherlands.

If someone tells me how to upload a picture, I will post my 12 month old female, out of Winner with a Filou Quarter Latin dam ( Filou/Racker/Matty). Thanks,

Thanks cowgirl..They're a little to young for me to compare, but they look great anyway.  If you don't mind me asking a stupid question (I'm new to all this), what do you do in ringtraining?

hps, thank you as well.  I don't know how to post pics yet, but I would love to see your girl.

When my pup was little very dark, black and red.  His coat has lightened up quite a bit, which I'm assuming is normal, but now it looks like he's getting a bitch stripe(?).  Does that ever go away?  It seems like part of it might grow out and become more black again.

I appreciate your posts.

At ringtraining we do everything we would on a show also. We let them walk and trott in a ring with other dogs the same age (we form groups depending on the available dogs) and stack them.

We also have a male that didn't have his saddle all black at the age of yours, He's now 16 months and it does become darker again. I don't think it will ever be really solid black.

UVW,

my C - litter is sired by Winner, it was & is still a true pleasure to have these pups. Everything fine & dandy from the get go. I just put some new pics into my " Fotoalbum", if you care to take a look. www.vom-sankt-martiner-tal.de
