The dog world does draw every POS on earth or I really should say flushes them out; it's the dogs that end up paying, again, am so sorry for you and your dogs, how truly heartbreaking. Hopefully someone will stop these POS and justice will be served. I just hope the dogs can survive. The intense worry must be killing you. Take care of yourself so IF the dogs do come back you can give them what they need. Good luck Nan

Donald,
Unfortunately, the link you provided http://www.gofundme.com/101st-RLTW didn't work. It says "Campaign Not Found". It piqued my interest because of the tagline 101st-RLTW. Those two words are very special. My husband is a US Army Ranger (RLTW...all the way!) and retired from the 101st (Ft. Campbell, KY) a few years ago. So very sorry what has transpired and even more sorry for the veteran's who entrusted this organization/person and have yet to receive a trained service dog. Disappointing and heartbreaking would be an understatement given all that they've been through to have to endure further unecessary stress. I honestly don't know how they can sleep at night if they are in fact profiting at the veteran's expense.

I sent six dogs to Dogs4Warriors .. they came to NC and picked them up. The dogs ranged in age from 8 months to 3 years. Three males and three females. Thus far I have no bad reports or reason to think my dogs have been mistreated or abused. I have had contact with Sheila but it has been minimal. I would love to think that my dogs are all frolicking in a beautiful meadow with butterflies and bunny rabbits but if that were the case it would be better than anything I could have ever done for them. All three of the males were undoubtedly handfuls and all three could have been Police type or guard dogs with proper training. One female was an excellent high drive brood bitch and Sheila told me she might use her as a brood bitch before she took her from me and I gave her my blessing if that is what she did with Greta. The other two young females were also nice dogs but need socialization and one of them was also a high drive female with a tendency to hold on to what she bit and not let go. Once the dogs went to Dogs4Warriors I gave Sheila my blessing to do with them what she wished so long as the dogs were humanely trained, housed, fed and cared for with fairness and compassion. If Sheila sells my dogs to raise money for her program I am OK with that so long as the mentioned caveats of fair and humane handling are followed. When I first started breeding and training dogs I realized very quickly that the control of what happens to my dogs pretty much stops when I load them into their new owners vehicle and they drive out of my sight. I have had many owners of my dogs who keep in touch and I rejoice in knowing what happened to my puppies as they grow and mature but I don't expect that I can undo what I have done after they leave my care. Sheila has done nothing to me or my dogs that I can say is unkind or uncaring as of this date. If some of you have a problem with Sheila and Dogs4Warriors then that is between you and Sheila but do not mention my name as I have not had a problem with Sheila. If I find that my dogs have been mistreated then I will have a very big problem but until then I do not want to back seat drive as what Sheila is doing with the Dogs4Warriors program is in my opinion nearly impossible to do without someone being unhappy about something. A list of the dogs I donated is below. They were all good to excellent dogs but Sheila had to invest a lot of time and training in any of them to make something out of them for her program or any other use as they were green dogs.

Yes I knew about Facebook .. I have sent messages to Shelia via the FaceBook page as well and got a response. Like I said I am not aware that I have been scammed and as far as I know the dogs I sent Dogs4Warriors are fine. If Sheila could train dogs for free and give them away so that everyone is happy that would be a miracle in itself. The only thing I have learned about GSD and most people is that the dog that most people want is not the dog that they need or can manage. Some of the dogs that Sheila got from me were not dogs for beginners or someone who needed a couch potato. In almost all cases the breeder and/or trainer is better able to match the dog to the potential handler or owner than anyone. I have not heard anyone claim Sheila is not a good trainer nor have I heard anyone claim she mistreats her dogs. That is pretty well as much as I need to know if that is true.
