I grew up in Naperville- almost right next door to DG! Live in Oswego now- no dog limit;-).

I meant abominations as in the dogs the gang bangers are dragging around on those ridiculous chains. The big, fat, crooked-legged, huge-headed, Mastiff cross things are what I was calling abominations.

Week from TOMORROW  IS THE BIG DAY...THE BEGINNING OF A LONG TIME MERIT!!!!!!

Erin:   Here is one of the mighty Challenges that  ABHAY  had to turn into a purring kitten...talk about  big pitbulls being inbred...linebred...Look at this KITTY KITTY...only Abhay could tanspose this one!!!

I get to play with this one   a week from TOMORROW   .
I just finished packing my One of 4 bags of clothes and Fun wear for my trip..The weather is gonna get a bit chilly so this Kitty can help keep me warm...I love Fur coats, collars and sweaters..

I understand, the Abhay , can tame anything ...that purrs....barks....or bites.....!

I like the traditional style of pitbull. I love the looks of the dogs from Zebo and Jeep lines.

I don't mind SOME American Bullies, but one can't honestly call them an APBT, anymore than anyone can say an American Staffordshire, or Staffordshire Bull Terrier is an APBT. I don't like the variants that look like they're suffering from some bizarre medical condition. I like the AmBully dogs that actually look like they could be a working breed.

[an "American Bully" produced by a friend]

IF you want to talk about "abominations," I present the following:

[a "Pocket Bully"]

[a "Shorty Bull"]

Pocket Bullies/ys, Shorty Bulls, and lines where words like "extreme" and "freak" are proudly used to describe the dog. Gottiline Dax, a pocket bully, if you ever see him from the side you get an idea of how the term "abomination" is utterly apropo. His forelimbs are so much shorter than his rear, that the only way he has a level back is when his back limbs are stretched way out. The puppy below, from this ad [http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/dogs/361185a6-89a1.aspx] is a perfect example. You can clearly see how short the front limbs are in proportion to the rears.

(Also an "abomination": any dog that's touted by its breeder as being a pitbull, yet weighs in at 100lbs or more. Last time I checked, APBTs were supposed to be lithe, athletic, and 30-40lbs)

Oh, Lord. Yes, that's precisely what I was talking about...and the thugs who drag them around....Sad Smile
