If anyone disagrees with slam or pirate just go out and decoy for a few good dogs in a suit without a gauntlet one day.
The shear amount of deep bruises and knots on your arm that show up in the bite radius and laterally up and down your arm
where the bogs hadnt bitten will definitely show you and thats if your lucky and dont still get small scratches and punctures
that add to the bruising significantly. Yes some dogs can get through the suit material.
I used to forget my leather gauntlets all the time like an idiot and i have plenty of t-shirts that still have tears and bloodstains
from through the suit!!!!! As well as still sport scars from those days. But those bruises stay for a long time and hurt like hell
if you keep working dogs through it without letting them heal.
