I don't see the terms as mutually exclusive. A wedge does not have to mean an overly refined long and wispy shape, it can be strong, masculine and even blocky while still maintaining a wedge shape. Personally I don't like overly refined or what some call "elegant" heads. I like blocky, strong, masculine heads on male GSDs.

I see nothing wrong with them either, nor do I really believe it has much to do with a strong bite.
Remember by whom and why they were bred in the first place.
Actually its just one more thing to argue about .....LOL

Moon, I would have to agree with that. lol. Everyone has something they like and someone else has a different taste. Kind of like relationships with us non-fur balls. =)

I personally like an average head size not too full of air, and a nice butt !!
Red when possible but not exclusive, blonde will do.
No biting allowed. Nibbling maybe, depends.

The most powerful solid black dog I have ever seen is Jean Schrader's/SchraderhausK9 Argo z Libocke zahrady. He is a rock your socks off, completely solid black, massive male. There are some pictures I took of him on her web site with him running toward me, I wanted the photo so much I lost my mind over him. He is nothing short of awesome and the pics will never do him justice. Unless your on the ground with him coming towards you its hard to describe.

I would also recommend Molly's Doc. I have met him in person several times and he is just awesome. I had a litter from him and could not have been more pleased. All had excellent pigment, good looks, strong drives, very forward and outgoing, not a slacker in the bunch. He also gave me a lot of males 6/2 which always makes me happy!!

Moons to use some of these stud dogs you'd have to title your girl. Maybe its time for a CD or some agility or tracking. You already know she produces nice pups so you'd be improving the pedigree with a title or two. Just my 2 cents.
