Why do these Registers that Susie posted not make their Registration Numbers available like all the other Registers Fantom posted do? It seems that would be the good way to do it as then scammers could not create pedigrees of your dogs for they would be easier to find. We have so many of these dogs with no information or Kennel names in the PDB without a Breed Book or Registration number any of these dogs could be fake. This is the reason the Ped Admins are able to spot dogs right away in other breeds as they do not match the Kennel name, Breed Book or Registration Numbers but not the case with your Breed Registers. Most of the AKC Bulldogs information can be found so we know if they are fake or not. In order for the PDB Ped Admin to know if these dogs are real or fake pedigrees we need to be able to find them if not the Ped Admin do mark them needing the required information. The members that enter their dogs in the PDB are required to follow the rules in registering a dog or puppy. There are members that follow the rules and the Ped Admin appreciate each and everyone of you.

I second that. I have even taken to sending Thank you notes when I find a member who enters all (plus more) information. I recently sent the following PM to "eichenplatz" in Germany
I would love it if everyone entered dogs in PDB the way that you do.
It's such a relief to see all the data (in the right place) and to know that I do not have to enter anything.
To me it shows that you take great pride in your dogs.
Thank you

That was a terribly wrong pedigree . I worked on it over an hour to fix everything. The main problem was that 11 out of 15 names were misspelled causing several duplicates. Members need to realize that they need to enter the names EXACTLY as they are on the pedigree..... and of course include the date of birth and registration number.
I don't understand what the NKC hopes to accomplish by contacting PDB, unless they want to give us free access to their database....and of course we would welcome that.
