This may have no truth to it at all, but I had heard somewhere that when a male pup is shipped on an air plane, sometimes his testicles can be down, but can get sucked back up due to the high altitude, and may not come back down.
I don't ship pups, so I don't have any personal experience to this.
What do you guys think, how far fetched does that sound?

Something else to just throw out in this thread, just because we are talking testicles doesn't mean it's always the sire who is responsible. The dam can be the one carrying the problem, but the genes would never express themselves with her, since she doesn't have testicles (obviously).

Not a slam or anything, but WHY didn't you research the kennel (any kennel) on-line before-hand? Just curious. For future reference, please check the "Buyer Beware" thread on this site. Just plug in the topic title in the search function.

Also Malndobe, I totally agree with you that its not only the sire that could be responsible, the dam is 50% also responsible....Funny how it seems that the first question people always ask is," Who's the sire?"

PS. I did a bit of googling and contacted some of the unhappy puppy buyers from Kraftwerk. So, I did not even visit there. I continued up to Jean Schrader and to Julie Marlow where I can say that both places were excellent and I would buy a puppy from either. Trust but verify. (There was another kennel I visited that was shockingly substandard so I won't mention their name.)

Three and half years ago purchased a dog and had no problem. So left my guard down
