> Since you seem to know more than most on this matter, can you explain why he ran over the already laid tracks? I don't give a crap about the court case and no BS please concerning the transcripts. Just the damn truthful reason why he ran over them, this seems to be the main question regarding this topic.

I would hope those of you reading this thread or any other thread would have enough sense not to read any of this as gospel. There are three sides to all stories. In a forum like this you get only one very biased side. Any information taken out of context can be made to look a certain way. What I posted was not rumor Frawleys letter can be seen on his web site. I have read lots re: GH vs. Eric and you should believe none of what is written on this forum. I will say it appears to me that nobody including USCA appears to be interested in the real matter at hand. Whether eric did or did not have permission to me is completely off point, nothing anyone could say to me would justify driving across tracks at a trial. If USCA says this is ok for any reason then USCA has real problems and I for one will be looking for other organizations to be a part of. I do not wish to be a part of any organization that lacks integrity. Lay down with filth and you come out dirty.

Greetings,
Here is a timeline of events that led to the motion to suspend my
judges' license and my responses to some of the things that have been
said:
In November of 2006 I rode with a friend/club member in his car to
the Nationals. The agreement was between him and me that I would
reimburse him for half of the mileage. I calculated this amount based
on the IRS tax rate per mile. I took "half the miles" times the IRS
rate.
This is how I have done many expense reports related to corporation
and 501c3 entities that I have worked for in the past as an
accountant, Assistant Controller and Chief Financial Officer. There
were no other expenditures reimbursed for the trip.
When it was time to fill out the expense report I went with the EB
policy. Not knowing at that time that since I was in the Judges
Program, as an apprentice judge, all of my expense reports and
activities would follow under the jurisdiction of the Judges
Committee. The expenditure report was sent to the USA office for
review and reimbursement.
When the funds were sent to me I gave them to the person I had ridden
with. That person donated the funds to our club for all the work the club
had done to help him train and get ready for the Nationals. As far
as I was concerned, once he received the funds my part of the
agreement was fulfilled.
In February 2007, this same person's membership in the club was
revoked for repeated incidents during training where safety became a
concern and we had a personal falling out. Soon after, he made
allegations to the USA President and DOJ stating he did not receive
the funds.
The DOJ notified me in June 2007 that there were complaints against
me.
The following item was listed on the DOJ's investigation:
1) In November 2006 I rode with a person to a National event and
they wanted to know about the reimbursement money as explained above.
I answered the above questions to the best of my abilities and
recollections, including a separate list of questions later from the
Judges Committee regarding the money. I answered all related
questions and complaints.
On or around August 15, 2007 the DOJ called to inform me that this
was turning into a "he said/she said" sort of case. At that time I
asked him what he wanted from me. He informed me that he personally
did not like the way I filled out the expense report. At that time I
told him that perhaps it should go to the BOI because I was serving
as VP at that time and was an apprentice judge.
Only at this time did he tell me that since I was in the Judges
Program that anything I do will be reviewed under the Judges
Committee. I informed him that I did not know the judges' program
supersedes my duties as Vice President.
At this time I told him the expenditure in question was around
$314.04 and I could send the money back to USA. He said not to do
that and that he would handle it. He then explained to me that I
should have calculated it as: trip miles/miles per gallon times gas
price. At this time I reminded him that there is no policy that
allows for this type of reimbursement calculation.
So I asked him again if he wanted all the monies or did he just want
the difference from his calculation? The DOJ informed me that he
would take care of it. I did everything the DOJ asked of me.
Around September 12, 2007 I notified the DOJ that the South Central
Regional Director had notified me that the Judges Committee could not
find anything to charge me with, but the case was still goin

Around September 12, 2007 I notified the DOJ that the South Central
Regional Director had notified me that the Judges Committee could not
find anything to charge me with, but the case was still going to the
EB. I asked the DOJ if he needed anything further from me and he
said no.
Around October 20, 2007 I sent an email to the Judges Committee for a
status update because no one had contacted me for several weeks.
On October 21, 2007 there was an e-ballot in front of the EB stating
that I had misappropriated funds. The charge against me was that I
had not followed an IRS rule regarding vehicle ownership or lease.
This was an IRS rule only available through researching the IRS web
site. It was not stated anywhere in the judges program rules for
reimbursement.
Through the whole process, I did exactly as the DOJ asked of me. I
did not contact the members of the Judges Committee directly as some
of my accusers had done in attempt to sway the vote.
At no time did the DOJ or the President ask me to return the money.
I offered to return the money, and the DOJ declined.
What I do not understand is why anyone would think as an Assistant
Controller, a Probationary Judge and a newly elected VP; I would risk
giving that up for $314.04?
I was never given any guidance other than from the USA office. I did
as I thought I was told. This has been hard for me to understand. I
always try to follow rules to the best of my abilities.
Now you know my side of the story. What you choose to do with this
information is up to you. Thank you for your time.
Kindest Regards,
Randall L. Hoadley, Vice President
United Schutzhund Clubs of America

Why is it we are not surprised that the DOJ for the USA would say one thing and do the opposite :(
I travel quite a bit on business and have never heard of the method described to calculate mileage and cost.

Randall, I did not need the explantion above I have known you always to be fair and honest and most people familar with you do as well. I fully support you and hope you will be the elected President to get USA back to a organization that members can count on again. It is not often enough in the sport I can point to someone who has helped and mentored as many people as you have throughout the years. Another example of a early involement in our sport that has led many to join.
FYI The poster Alaman real name is Carl Edwards and lives close to Springville Alabama and is personal friends with Gary Hanrahan. The things he repeats is feed to him so take the posts with a grain of salt. I doubt if he knows Ed Frawley personally and I doubt Ed cares what he thinks. I do not know Ed Frawley either but I have heard the same thing about him word by word from Gary when I asked about Ed ten years ago. I doubt Mr. Randall is a bad guy either but when you post something you know nothing about sign you right name so we know who to address. If I post on any forum or site my name is always at the bottom and I am listed by AlabamaK9 because what i post is what I think and have no reason to be unknown. If you cannot say something with your right name it tends for me not to give credit to any content.
USA does not make a ton of money and barely survives with dues with the overhead and no one wants to see them go belly up. No one would relish Gary being barred from the sport as well he is a talented man who at one time helped many of us me and Eric included and has vast knowledge well known as one of the great early competitors at top level.from the USA. The content of the last post that was removed about Garys children etc.. I thought vile trash and uncalled for with zero merit by someone without a name which should not be allowed on any forum. This would cut ninety-nine percent of slander and lies. I personally would think an appology would have been forthcoming after the incident at Nationals could have resolved a lot and maybe not lead us to were we are today. .
You want to built membership and draw to the sport like the Masters Tourament put on in New Jersey all with a positive spin thanks to Carlos he did a great job with our relationships and contacts in Europe. You look at competitor James Honda first one who comes to my mind as example of talent and good sportsmanship as roles models. We have so many talented trainers besides James that can be named in this country and most all of them are great people. Look at what Debbie Zappia did this year with a dog from her and Jodys breeding HOT and going to the WUSV how exciting some of the talent around us is amazing. Look at Molly another example of breeder and trainer with great success. Yvette is right always a helper shortage we need to support each other have fun with our dogs who may or may not be on the podium. We must all be treated fairly as members no matter our status. We have so much at stake as breeders and trainers to promote things involving this sport and not the terrible distraction at present. If you can envision going to your first trial and seeing someone jump out of their car and drive across the field to stop the event what impression would you come away with? Is this really for me I know you would be thinking to yourself. I had a newbie at that trial with a puppy from here he just went to watch did not know the players or anyone I told him he would enjoy the experience and he sent me a email that It was not quite what he expected.&

Cont
I am proud of Eric and his abilty to still work his dog daily in preparing for this years WUSV and I am not sure many would have been able to continue under the pressure. That alone speaks to me of courage and character that many would have folded.
I wish everyone on this years team the best at the WUSV and especially Eric who rightfully belongs in his place.
I think Yvette has the right solution for change at USA and I hope this is done and I urge members to voice their opinion to USA by emails and letters.

To all
First how does rehashing this BS (Gary/Eric) help anyone? Most of us were not there, not affected, one side acted improperly the other side was tresspassing and lied about details to embellish event. If what alaman says it true about the legal proceedings it would be hard to punish anyone on a charge brought by someone who has admitteded to lying about it.
Most of the farmers that I know would be asking questions of a tresspasser down the barrel of a rifle. Ask anyone who hunts about how easy it is to get a good hunting spot. People who act carelessly ruin things for everyone..
What has Ed done for the sport other than profit off of his website and buisiness, Has he donated money, written training articles, anything? He promotes himself not the sport.
What would the DOJ have to gain by trumping a charge against Mr. Hoadley? USA is a not for profit entity and its monies must be accounted for to maintain its tax status. Randall only returned the money at the GBM. Should have been done much earlier but again we have a he said /she said thing.
people talk of the sport dying....looks like we are all killing it

Indeed Dave...
Sad that dogs come to this...... egos of people & their affiliations with Associate/Parent Club, which are problematic.
SchH used to be a breeding certication. Strictly & solely..
Changed it into a 'Sport', and then cater somewhat to the Show crowd, involve lots of money therein, and watch the breed & sport die a slow death.
Its painful to watch..and to read. But Im masochistic, so I'll continue to read.
