Well then I guess we will  have to get her to VA another way....RR what do you want to do....According to what I just learned...Amelia is not in a good situation,  period

We can get the female and fly her out of DFW rather easily if you need the help.I have friends at AA, as well Continental. My cell is broken but the VM still works too, Its 817 689 4842. Even if you need help on the 4th let me know.

ok  here is the latest.. i just talked to Windy Pool..She is on the way back to Orange grove , Texas which is 10 hours away from me...but she was at Dave Kroyers today and she can meet me next week there and pic up Amelia if RR agrees to that...then we will get her to VA...

The dog needs to be sedated.. Windy Pool said the Airlines said so..

The dog is not going to stay in a crate...she doesnt like it and she is very head strong on that point...All other she is fine..

RR has to give Windy instructions as to what she wants Windy to do...At this point,,windy has not heard her voice on any phone.....why?

RR   have you tried to call Windy...I got thru to her....she needs to be told if you wnt me to get the dog next week or you wait  and you drive down yourself and get her....

We need to make arrangements so please get this arrangement done..THe dog needs a new crate   so put some money on  a petsmart card so Windy can go buy a new crate...then we will go from there...Dog needs to be in a neutral zone....Zahweg has agreed to help and Im ready....Windy knows that I cannot do it on the 9th or the 10th...

I ask her to meet me in Galveston but that is not feasible...at this point    4 hours for her and then to Daves another 4 hours....

RR     waiting on you....Windy  can you post a pic of Amelia at your place so RR feels better...worry does funny things to the brain and I think RR is terribly upset...When upset you tend to not think straight....so post a pic of Amelia today so she can see she is ok...

We will go from there....You have my cell; both of you..So if you want us to help you get the dog in a neutral zone ...let me know     asap...Have other irons in fire as we all do...

I have talked to Windy and we are making arrangements to get a new kennel and book another flight. She has been very cooperative and helpful with this situation. Thank you all very much for your help. I hope Amelia will be home soon.

We have found each other and I think we have a plan worked out.  Thanks to all that helped.

You can ship them tranquilized with just a little ace to calm the dog down...just don't tell the airlines :-).  Veronica
