If this is about a name and honoring someone with their wish to be called by their chosen moniker, then, I do recall Raymond asking for due respect with the salutation "Mr."

Actually, he specifially wanted to be called, Mr. Ass.

I think if he can't remember to use Aaron's chosen name, we should remind him of his.

Determining to call one by other than their chosen name is highly disrespectful. It is what I have come to expect from paternalizing racists, who refuse to bother with learning a person's name. It is very much like those who choose to call all Latin males Pedro, for eample. Or, they call anyone they "think" is Middle Eastern Ahmad, even though they are actually an Italian-American named Chris. Some people just think you are who THEY decide you are.

I think that the one that enrages me the most, is when people call Sikhs, Muslims.

They assume head covering = Muslim.

Given the long, long historical dischord between the two religions, its just disturbing. Calling Sikhs, Hindus is right up there, as well. For the same reasons.
