Hi Mike, like i said, i have only bred 2 litters this far. First was sired by Janos v. d. Noriswand, second by Karat's Ulk. We have acertain pricerange around here. The price for a well bred pup is somewhere between 700 €uros to 900 €uros. Now this is the pricerange i am used to for a 8 week old pup. This includes proper deworming, first vaccination, tatooing and pink SV Papers. What i usually expect from buyers is that they buy a bag of puppyfood from me aswell. I will charge the same price as i payed for it. This i do for the benefit of the pup. I did sell a pup to the US before and could not send a hole bag of food, but was able to include about 5 pounds, to safely switch the pup over to the new food. One thing i would like to mention is, that i was fairly shocked that DR felt that i was insulting him. This is just not me, i always try to be polite as i can. Neverless, i will leave it at that, despite i found his reply rather harsh. Anyways, you are right - comunication & beeing straight forward is the key ! Kind Regards Ulli Dresbach

First of all I have a right I frist bought the dog as a pet and i knew he was a show dog and then I got into show dog futre schutchund prospect. I am only 13 I was excited my first dog showing wasnt in my mind. I looked before I leaped. I did my research and I could find anything about Geman shepherds except for AKC shit. I saw all the top dogs but i never new the prices were low. I have noticed not a lot of gsd stuff is not online its hard at first to find. I only found this threas lik ea couple months ago. Oskar.. Your right I did come back too harsh. I am sorry for that. I agree with things you are saying and I know you and many more German breeders do a superb job and have high ethics. To be clear I was addresing the fact that this was a novice and seems like they are the ones the less than ethical breeders take advantage of, regardless of the part of the world they are from. New people get excited and sometimes get on a kick that the only good dogs are imports or something else, then they make mistakes that end up with them on this board griping. They think if I pay alot of money this pup should be perfect, now chewing, digging etc and should already be perfectly trained. I still believe a novice is much better off trying to locate a domestic dog first. I will agree if they spend say maybe 6 months to a year doing homework, researching, asking questions that they could find a good importer etc. Problem is I don't think most novices will do this, they are too excited and usually buy the first pup they see. PS: Don't ever worry about your english being perfect, few of us are. You are doing fine communicating. Have a good day!
