Diane Jessup

by Diane Jessup on 01 August 2010 - 22:08

The bible says "suffer a witch not to live", hence the murder of several hundred thousand woman during the middle ages (and before that, of course).

I'm curious:  how can a person say that they are "extremely judgemental, violent, and full of evil" and call themselves a Christian?  To "be" a Christian, would it imply that you were making an attempt to live as (the people writing about) Christ outlined?  It seems rather "cheap" to be able to have your cake and eat it too.  I mean, make an effort to live by the standards set by Christ, or don't call yourself a Christian. At what point can you just say "well, I want to *call* myself a "Christian", but down deep I'm really pretty proud of being (what that person thinks is) a "badass"?   I see a lot of gangmembers who rob, rape, kill, and cause all kinds of negativity to their neighborhood who wear crosses and put on a big act about being "Christians". How cheezy is that?

Just curious.  I'm not a Christian; not a fan of most things from the middle east.

I stand corrected.  It was Two Moons that said Bible interpretation was a sin.
So, since *you* don't think Bible interpretation is a sin, and you agree that the CONTEXT of a passage is every bit as important as the verbage, then I assume you now understand why it is the Bible cannot be said to condemn homosexuality?  The *context* of every single condemnation makes clear, a loving, consensual relationship between two people of the same gender is not what they are referencing.

Oh, since we're "calling things as we see them", you're a bigot.

I trust you are not calling me a bigot? Are you judging me to be a bigot? Tell me when have I even spoke in a harsh tone to you! Oh it is so easy for you to hypocritically do what you hate so much! Dianne God considers disobedience as bad as the sin of witchcraft! Mudwick please pay attention! I never said that the founding fathers were all devout practicing christians! Please do not put words in my mouth!I said that the founding fathers based the foundation of this country on judeo christian values! Many of or better yet the majority of the signers of he constitution were ministers of the gospel and biblical scholars and teachers! My word sir read your history books that any library contains! Example 1 our constitution is clearly anti slavery! so go ahead and reference the three fifths clause and I will tear it apart! God never has nor did ever condone or support slavery! He instituted humane laws protecting the welfare of slaves from cruel treatment from the masters! Moons  please learn a little more before attempting to debate me on biblical writings or history! You only insult yourself!

So... do you keep Kosher then, Raymond?  Why won't you answer that simple question?

Well, I guess if I'm a bigot for telling the truth .. so be it.

Ohh well. I'll sleep good.

Actually, I ask that question of anyone who believes that homosexuality is "bad" or "sinful" based solely upon Biblical verses.  Do you keep Kosher?

raymond

Actually I love crisp bacon and far to often indulge in the sausage I cook and cut up for tracking1 Actually halos jackpot at the end of the track is sometimes smaller than intended1 I even take half of the food when making the left anf right turnsof each leg! Now if it is your desire to provide me a dissertation on dietary and ceremonial  laws please take care and do it correctly! Actually If you could do it professionally and with some degree of intellegence I would be happy to rebut and provide you with all scripture verses supporting the conclusion that we are not bound by those ordaninces of dietary and ceremonial law! Please do not confuse the dietary and ceremonial laws with the laws of moral and ethical conduct! When I say" bound by" I mean that the penalty of transgression is paid! However that does not mean that it is w ise to eat pork or scavangers ! Even today man is plagued by parisitic infestation from eating tainted meats!   You must recognize that the more than 600 rules and statutes given wer intended to show us that in order to have a relationship with God and meet his standard of holiness those rules were to be kept! His intention was to show us it was impossible to meet him on equal ground by our WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! BY KEEPING THE WHOLE LAW! bUT AS FOR ME AND HALO WE LOVE PORK!

So the "penalty for transgression" is paid for eating pork, but not for homosexuality?  Who decided this?

It's not always as sneaky and sordid as it seems. Just a thought.

I see. I'm sure there are some people on here so well known that "everybody" knows who they are. How nice for them.

What I'm seeing is a lot of personal attacks on people who DO post their name, or websites, or accomplishments, etc, by people who are too, well, chickenshit is the word that comes to mind, to stand behind their name or accomplishments. BUT, it is pretty much a no-brainer why this is... they haven't a name or accomplishment to be proud of. I certainly see that over and over again in the pit bull world. In this case, this person had a legit reason - which I respect, but its the first time I've encountered someone with a legit reason! Viva la brave!

NoCurs, What difference would it make? You don't know anyone who is really in the Pit Bull World. lol
Perhaps they don't want to divuldge their identity, so you and your HSUS pals, will show up to evaluate their dogs.

I'm curious NoCurs. You write books about the APBT. Do you know who the oldest and most famous APBT Dogman is, in your state? Anyone who writes APBT Books, should be able to answer that, in a heartbeat. Also what was the name of his well known dog in 1971. What do you know about that Washington State Bulldog?

I will repeat what I have been saying all along, but I will omit the word good.  I Love Christ more than anything. I am one of the lucky, and blessed people, who has actually been touched, and seen.

I am too weak and evil to be called a Christian. Just call me an evil man, who Loves Christ.
