I brought APBT's to Puerto Rico in 85.  There were already a few there at that time. The pic below, is of a Corvino/ Hemphill dog I brought, named BUTCH.  He is pictured with the Gentleman I worked for named, Alejandro Lopez.
 I lived in a little town called Aquadilla.

 I have a story that shows what a moron I really am.  The beach, was only about 300 yards from where I lived. One of my first mornings there, I took Butch for a walk on the beach.  It was deserted back then, and we were all alone. We are walking, and we come upon the biggest Crab I have ever seen.  This thing looks like something out of a Monster Movie.

The crab is stopped, and kind of in a threatening pose looking at us. Butch is straining at the leash to get to it.
My BB Brain is thinking, I wonder if that thing would pinch Butch's mouth?? I was a little hesitant, but I relaxed his leash.
I swear, it wasn't but a split second, and I mean 1 second.  I heard a crunch, and that huge Crab had disappeared, and Butch was licking his lips and straining to find more lol. 
  I was LMAO. I was worried about a stupid Crab that Butch ate like a coctail weenie lol.

Butch was almost 7 in that pic.  He was given to me, by my mentor, Vern Baker.  Back in the day, Vern bought the famous "COUNTRY BOY" from Gaboon Trahan.

No I don't live in the Philppines.... I live in SC.   Just wanted to get that straight.    I  am getting a good round education now.  There are so many more people to shed different lights on this subject.
