This is NOT false advertising!
The two dogs shown on that ad are Shiloh's Apache Joe, and Shiloh's Luke von Ensomhed. Here's what Tina has to say about these two boys in her 1986-87 stock sheet, which you can view here: http://www.newzionshilohs.org/Stock_Sheet/stock_sheet.htm Luke is on pg. 2, Joe on pg. 3.
Shiloh's Luke von Ensomhed 29" 134# X-rayed excellent at 2 1/2 years and very good at 7 yrs.
Luke is very close to our "ideal' for a large German Shepherd. He is fully personal protection trained, and does his work very well. He posesses a stable yet slightly independent temperment. He is not overposessive, yet he is willing to fight to the death if necessary.
Shiloh's Apache Joe 27 1/2", 134# OFA 13102
Joe is a very impressive male, closely resembling his grandsire, Gunsmoke....Joe has an excellent 'working' temperment He is fully capable of doing any kind of police or protection work. Although he is a bit aloof, and sometimes stubborn, he has the perfect German Shepherd working temperment.
Please remember, these ARE AKC registered GSD's. You will find them on the database here.
The Shilohs of today, though, as has been said NUMEROUS times, both by myself and others, are a different story.

Hey sunsilver my dog has luke in her pedigree, lucky me.

Tina is so fond of Luke that she has him in her signature picture on her website's forums.
My bitch has Apache Joe and Gunsmoke in her pedigree, as well as Portrait of Fabrena, one of Tina's foundation bitches! She looks an awful lot like her Shiloh ancestors, too, so much so that Tina spotted the resemblance the first time I posted a picture of her at 13 weeks! And no, I did NOT deliberately go out and purchase a GSD with Shiloh ancestors! It was a complete surprise!
As for the house fire, Tina lost almost EVERYTHING in the blaze. Some important records in a fire proof safe survived, and a very few pictures that were in a dresser drawer somehow escaped being burned. She also lost one of their house dogs, which ran back into the burning house.
Fortunately, almost all the pedigree and LMX data was recorded off site on a computer database.
