^ watch the vid, i have no more explanation than what you can all see same as me. first images rear leg appear to be dragging slightly, while playing tug rear feet never left the ground together once, dog gave up very easy and very quickly pursuing the tug and was just following it around. could be out of condition or something more fundamental about it's structure that can't support the activity, not sure from the clip. it's but was dragging a lot, ie seem to lack propulsive force even when it wanted to strike, mind was willing rear end did not enable.

just my non-expert opinion, nice expression.

That's what I thought.

Now that you've had an epithany and added some sensible comments, your opinion makes more sense.

read the edit, there is more explanation, your thoughts on the motion? you are an expert no less and will clarify my errors on the clip?

Very nice type;  I would request a current video along with video's of his progeny which they say they are keeping 2 girls;  1 boy.  Ask to see their pic's and video.  nice color and agree if he fell on my doorstep I would be delighted.

Here's what I saw in his particular video:  a slight roll over in rear left toes when taking off;  good balance but not an extended gate by any means;  could use more front and rear angulation for that ground covering gate but if you are not looking for that gate and well balanced gate.  Not sure on his conditioning;  looked OK but a bike ride regularly may help to stretch that gate out somewhat.  Over all balance caught my eye, owner or whoever stacked him nicely rear not perpendicular to ground though.  All that said  I liked him.  Seeing pic's of his pups would probably help me out though,  how old was this dog in video.  Cute expression, nice earset.  Pretty boy.  Nan

The video being referenced shows this dog at no more than 16 months old, as he was whelped in July 2010, and the video was posted in November 2011. To my eye, the dog does not look like he's been conditoned, as the muscle appears soft, and to be blunt, I think he's on the fat side in the video.

This dog has his own Facebook page. Pictures of his pups are on there...still candid shots, so you can't really tell much about their structures, but they're certainly not unfortunate looking dogs.

Thanks all, and I have some same opinions..DOG is over weight then as cannot say current as no current video. I have not contacted poster of ad.

I see the play drive , of course , is not what I am use to, but as one good trainer told me , YR, are you gonna stand up to a hard dog like you always had?  well, Yes, if  he is easy and intelligent to train..

I see a few steps that are questionable and might need to be answered by OFA or Xray proof.. I think the dog needs conditioning. I do not do facebook..

I may need to start .thanks again...I will check out more info from the owner

I do know the Funken spiel line is a strong one and has produced consistantly across the pond per other breeders who have pmed me.

Anyone know how he is bred ?  Says he was imported;  from  Croatia according to Woodside's site, but that does not carry much

other info;  and there is apparently no PDB pedigree page.

YR, I don't really 'do' facebook, either, but with so many people and organizations using it in lieu of webpages and web boards, I had to capitulate and join the damn thing.  Even the local animal shelter uses their facebook page to communicate with everyone, posting info on pets that are lost and ones that are found. I set up a very simple page that doesn't really contain anything, set everything for private and I don't post anything there. You might as well concede to it so you can see the pictures of this dog's pups. It's not so bad when you only use it for that sort of thing.
