i have heard about grapes, chocolate and garlic being harmful, but this is the first i heard of broccoli. i hate the stuff myself as much as my wife forces me to eat it, but my dogs love chewing on the stems. please provide some scientific sources for the harmfulness of broccoli.

Blackrooster: AKC puppy registration news that comes with your app..I will try to find the sheet..I printed it along time ago for my buyers , so I have it in a folder somewherer......Ill email it to you.......or put the source on here.....I have to go let out all the kids and the President of US is on right now....I want to hear a little of what he says, but dont have time to listen to all.......I have a poison list also...brocolii is only toxic to puppies.......and garlic and several other things for puppies not to eat...adult dogs are okay with veggies except grapes and raisins and it tells u why, becauseof a chemical reaction, just like pepperoni and Diet Dr.Pepper can explode in your stomach if eaten together, in just the right timing.....Diet drinks are sometimes not worth the risk in drinking,,,,,,,,whole new subject......I say they have a beer for dogs now ,,,,,read that on a site last night dont remember where, but I was looking at the Kevin Pups just born and the RIN TIN TIN site, so somewhere on the side of one of those....beer for dogs......hahahahA

Blackrooster: found it......AKC New Puppy Handbook page 47 titled at middle of page POISON! and broccoli, is on the list........along with apple seeds. u can kill someone with appleseeds in their coffee or tea,, soak them for an hour in the coffee or tea and let them drink it for a week every day , and they will have a cardiac arrest or shut down,,,,,,of their capilliary system , its like arsenic.....several cases in Us where wives killed husbands using appleseeds.....I can copy article and email u later tonight ....is ur email visible to us?
