IM SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS................. We have to remember that the owner thought they were doing the right thing....right or wrong...no one ever thought something like this would happen. I think personally that having to take the collar off when anything could happen, like Ive seen the crate doors fly open etc, needs to be changed by the airlines.

I am very sorry to hear that this has happened. I have not personally had an experience like this but it seems to me that maybe airports should have a rule about having any animals on the airport property off leash. It is a very sad tragety and I will pass this message on to who ever I know who has or is looking for a dog.
