before the pictures get deleted or changed I went ahead and saved them. I'm sorry, anytime I see a dog this color, I'm going to question if its natural or not.

Hmmm  Looks like "VA13" is none other than Victoria aka Gold-berg Kennels aka von Berlin Kennels, aka ...

Thank you, Uberland, for the laugh.

Uberland:  I don't know the kennel and or those dogs, but I have a black and red that sometimes is very red and at other times a lighter red/tan.  Here is picture taken a few months ago.  I get comments about her color all the time.  So again, not saying that dog in the picture is dyed or not, but wanted to share a picture of my natural - red head, Felice vom Amulree.

Depends on how the pic was taken.  I'm not that great with my camera and sometimes if my aperture is set wrong I have to DE-saturate my photos because the saturation is so extreme and my dog looks like and Ompaloompa.  To be really critical about color I'd have to just see the dog with my own eyes.  Again not defending the breeder knowing the history but there's plenty of dogs that color that are natural so it would be a waste of time to seek them out and question them all.

Oh, I've got a couple really red dogs myself.  not saying they don't come in that color.

buts its strange the difference in him and his sister.  especially at the age they are at.  I've got a almost 5 month old boy who gets redder by the day,  and thats what his mother did,  the older she gets, the redder.

only other dog I've seen that color was Sergio v Bad Boll, I was breeding a girl to him and had my hands all over him.  used to have polaroids somewhere of him,  and even that dog I questioned his color.  he was soo red he was almost purple when I met him in person!  plus he was being conditioned for an upcoming show soo...

The reddest dog I have ever seen is JustK9's Tika.  That dog is all DDR and no showline at all.

I haven't seen her in a long time.  I don't know if her color has changed.

Tika is still pretty darn red!!
I got a pic from Kim, Tika & puppies.......she is redder than most showlines.
I also have a couple of dogs extremely "authentic ruby red" in color......but most of mine are goldish/tan, goldish/red or "fox" red.

Uber.....for what it's worth....I wouldn't doubt completely, that the puppy is genuinely deep red in color.....it certainly can happen...even with littermates being lighter.
